The enthusiasm from the Drua was what I loved about this game, they didn't let go of the Brumbies and for a moment there an upset was on the cards..tough luck but great game of rugby. I truly enjoyed this one

I've been critical of Fiji rugby. But they are undoubtedly a great rugby nation.
If the drua could bring the same energy they got in local games to their overseas games theyd be monsters. On home soil they are hard to beat but they struggle as soon as they dont have their fans cheering them on like they do in Fiji. They need to get use to playing on enemy soil

With that said, the Drua haven't even been great at home this year. They've just had the fortune of playing the bottom four teams there.
Their getting good exposure playing in this comp and players overseas. Fiji on the up.

Drua were led down by not taking better attacking options for points and beaten to the breakdown by the Brumbies defense, but otherwise it was a good game overall right when the underdogs were so close to winning.

Enjoyed the game. The Drua let themselves down by not taking the points when the need arises. All in all a great game by both teams.

Drua's disallowed try just annoys me so heavily. So many times those are given. No daylight between ball and player, plus was down with pressure. He scored the try before definitively losing control.

@@garywagner2466 Australia has produced good refferees in the past few years but this guy is a clueless rabbish. Go look up his reviews and horrendous mistakes he's made. Go check him up. he's even apologised to teams for being terrible. I didn't watch this game but I assure you he made a minimum 5 shadey calls. Either overlooking infringements or not penalizing brumbies or letting the brumbies get away with forward passes. They gave a Whistle to An absolute gigantic garbage

When the TMO was reviewing that try they were showing all the wrong angles....n not the obvious default angle...they only showed that angle after the try was awarded and the kick taken

Australian rugby has a severe image problem and unfortunately, I can't see that turning around any time soon. It's hard enough stopping the desertion of good players to League. More money for players is the answer but where does that come from?
