thanks for this... it's a quiet Sunday rainy morning. As the raindrops hit the leaves of the trees outside, my tears crash the keyboard while my mind travels in the distance of time, reviving forgotten moments and feelings. Freedom is timeless as long you can feel it.
@@Dawg93 No, I'm describing it how it actually is, based on Frank's own manuscript. Learn the difference between compound and complex time signatures. This piece is not based around triplet groupings. It is alternating bars of 4/4 and 5/4.
I once heard the reason he called this this song "Watermelon in Easter" Hay was because; "The band I am playing with right now is so difficult for me to solo with it's like trying to grow a "Watermelon in Easter Hay." The greatness is in all the silly ones too, he just loved to thumb his nose at "fame" I think, hence the volume of Dynamo Hums and scarcity of Dangerous Kitchens.
Did you check out the copyright for this song? Unless something changed, you can’t make any money off of the use of this song. This was his signature song. He was able to make a guitar make sounds unheard before, and on a personal level, was a genius.
No, I did't check, but I know for a fact that it is copyrighted. Nevertheless, nobody claimed rights on this video because it is so changed compared to the original song, which means that the ads you see on this video, as all the ads on all my videos except "Zoot Allures" (which was claimed by FZ labels), generate money (cents in the best case scenario) that goes exclusively to Google. I don't make any money with any of my videos because I can't have them monetized. Besides... I'm not in this for the money. Been doing it for ten years purely for fun. Thank you.
I love it when I see a young person has discovered the genius of Frank Zappa.
Hiya Dan, I’m 15 and I’m absolutely in love with Zappa’s music, this song especially. Just keeping the Zappa alive man haha
@@UTDATL I've been listening intently to Zappa for 45 years now. When I discovered his music, it was a life-changing event for sure! Enjoy!
Yup....where were you when you were first blown away
A very good arrangements played with real style.

This is absolutely magic! Really like it. You've made it your own while keeping the spirit of the original alive.
Super cool! Thanks for the video!
I loved it, you kinda made that song your own, that song is a emotional mover, brings a tear to my eye because it's beautiful, not so much sad
Way to keep Frank's music alive 👍
9/8 time signature, acoustic version -》respect, I like it
It's actually alternative bars of 4/4 and 5/4, similar to how Oh No is alternating bars of 4/4 and 3/4.
@@surfdigby You're describing 9/8

To me it was the green plastic "Eggs" in a kids Easter Basket with the "Easter Hay"
@@earleaton1722 I like that. Excellent.
Can you make acoustic tutorial
A tiny bit fast no? Well done mate
Yes, it is a lot faster indeed. The melody is also a bit different to mold it to my slide capabilities. Hope you liked it despite this issues. Thanks!
The irony of it all, ZAPPA'S greatness is a handful of songs out of the thousands he wrote. Quality over quantity.
The greatness is in all the silly ones too, he just loved to thumb his nose at "fame" I think, hence the volume of Dynamo Hums and scarcity of Dangerous Kitchens.
Shutup
He didnt write thousands of songs, most of his albums are live albums and just different "versions" of the same songs.
@@josephraymond3832even not counting different versions of the same songs, he still wrote hundreds of songs
