I may give this a go just to see what happens. I don’t wear a winged liner very often, because I have to draw into the folds so much, but this may help form an outline like you said, then I can just fill in all the crinkled areas. Thank you for showing this. Lots of love.
Hi Nisha. I’m so glad that you did this video because I bought that same kit and am in the same situation as you with the hooded eyes. Lol- I was hoping that as I practiced , I would do a better job. Oh well, maybe I’ll do it a few more times after I get home in the evenings and see if I can get better at it I don’t have much hope for it though. I hope that you’re having a great time in Spain with your mom. Can’t wait to see the videos.
Hi Nisha, it's so nice to see a you tuber like yourself who has perfect lighting, some you tubers I watch turn the ring light up so bright that their face is blurry. Great video thankyou.
Hi Nisha when l was young l used to do a winged eye always, but now l think it looks funny on me. I think yours looked ok but the way you do your eyemake looks lovely, l don't think they added much. Thanks for the review 💜
Hi Nisha, Glad you tried this out, because I was thinking that this product won’t work on my hooded eyes. I have two layers on my hood too. Possibly a third one starting. 🤔😂
Hi nisha hope ur well, omg!,,I’ve given up on eyeliner years ago😬like urself I can’t c! My hands r not the steadiest, for fancy dress I would b great😂😂I just do a tiny line after my mascara is on as if to extend my lash, u taught me that years ago👌it’s very frustrating as I love that look! Never mind at least I can hide my hood that’s the main thing thanks to u👌😁thank u so much for the video, u take care xx😘
You explained this so well! My eyes are very similar! The downturned hood fold makes eyeliner such a challenge, there is no working around the fold…or going below it like so many hooded eye tutorials tend to do! This is exactly why i have never successfully figured out hooded eyes for my type of hooded eyes ….It never looks “right”
Good vlog Nisha, u did a good job 👌 doesn’t look bad it all .. I will for sure try that because I do have hooded eyes 👀! Keep doing it - all good tries 👌👏 💞 “ thanks Nisha, 4 your good tips “ much success 💞🌹
I, too, tried the pen with the template a couple of years ago because I also have a mildly hooded eye. The truth is, on you, despite the liner doesn't show that much when your eyes are naturally relaxed, really didn't look as bad as you think. Only if you had left it choppy would it have been ridiculous looking, but other than that, it wasn't as bad as you thought. When I tried it, I guess I'm just picky; I didn't like it, period! But I did find that if you take a mirror and look down into the mirror with your head upright, I have a better chance of free-handing the flick and then I fill it in. That's what works for me. But technically if I had a chance to do any of it, I would just stick with eyeshadow as a liner. It looks more natural and it's blendable and not so stark. That's my take on it. Thanks Nisha! 💕
Thanks for the video Nisha. Eyeliner is normal. Although, I don't use eyeliner anymore, I just use dark eye shadow to darken the outer corner of the eyelids, and the arrows may not look according to your desires. Therefore, I use only shadows and mascara for my eyes. And most importantly, a good psychological atmosphere around and inside, healthy sleep, especially in autumn. Have a nice holiday in hot Spain. 😘ххх
I think most of us with hooded eyes are always hopeful that one of these tricks will work for winged liner. My hoods are puffy, unlike yours but they are also down turned at the end much like yours so I won't bother with this one. Thanks for the video and I hope you're having a wonderful time with your mom in Spain!
I tried 3 of these , used just the liner part. I don't have hooded eyes, just thought it might be easier. For me no hooding a no. Unless they are better now than about a year ago. Waist of money. On Pinterest i saw some things i might try. Thankyou ❤ ❤ ❤ xxx 🐶🐾🐾
Thank you for testing these - i've seen them and suspected that they wouldn't work on me (my hooded eyes are similar to yours). I enjoy your videos - you always look lovely and your techniques are so helpful!
Hi Nisha, This was a very interesting video. It reinforced for me that I don't think the winged look is right for me. Its just too tricky to get right. I much prefer the way you do your eye looks, without the winged look, so its not really disappointing that this gizmo is not that useful. Your eye looks are so amazing, who needs the wings. Thanks so much for passing this information on. Much appreciated!
Nisha, I too have hooded, down turned eyes and these don't work for mine either. I too have the habit of lifting my brows especially the left one. Enjoy your Holiday in Spain I know you are SO excited to see your Mom. I will also be traveling. Visiting my Polish cousins who since reunification live in Southern France. Haven't seen them in almost 10 years and am so excited to see them. I will also be visiting my cousin in Germany where I was born. My first return since the pandemic. 🏖🏞✈
Good morning Nisha, thanks for sharing your thoughts on this product. I don’t think this would be something I would purchase because I normally use dark eyeshadow to line my eyes. I have the hooded eyes as well and don’t like the winged eye look on me. I hope you’re having fun time on your holiday. 💜💜💜
I have the same problem with hooded eyes. It's not for me but thanks for sharing ❤️. You are probably in Spain seeing your mother. Be safe and ENJOY.💕❣️❗🙏
Hi Nisha! I've been doing just one line for a long time now because it's a real nightmare to get a positive result! Plus I have tremors so I'll never get it right. With a good mascara and a small line I find it's enough and I like it! Have a great weekend! xxx
Even if you can’t see the liner too well Nisha, your lovely blue eyes still look beautiful 🙂 Thank you for doing videos on these new things…now I know it won’t work for me either:-)
Hi! Thank you for your video! I have eyes just like yours! I am always frustrated with trying to get a wing! This helped me understand what is happening. I thought it was just my terrible makeup skills 😂. I just got this set of stamps and have been trying with not much luck! You are beautiful, and did great with the stamp.
I had the exact experience with that “stamp marker” (except my “liner” marker had “remover” on the other end which made me love that one, since I could erase/fix). We have identical hooded eyes & loose skin that made it difficult to use the liner (especially over eyeshadow or when the “marker” got slightly drier.) I also get wide-eyed & really animated when talking. It’s funny how everything was the same. I’m 60, so we might be similar in age, as well. But since I’m blonde with light skin (again similar to you), the black eyeliner looked so harsh/not flicked (“wrong”) when it was that thick and extended. It took up the area where a darker shade of brown eyeshadow looks better on the outer corner for that blended 3 toned look. I do a subtle curved flick that looks kind of like it could be an outer eyelash (and the thin line like you). This video & YOU are awesome!
thanks for making this video !!! I think that your techniques with the koal eyeliner and the mascara work so well for me that I no longer feel the need to do the wing eyeliner. you consistently show us ways to make our eyes more open and lifted !!!! thanks for all your videos. on a different note are you planning to review the dream palette from ND? xoxo!!!!🥰🤩
I wonder if you tried those little stick on eyelid things that are supposed to push back the hood of the eye into folds of the eyelid if they would work. I have thought about trying those as I like winged eyeliner but it doesn't look too great because of my hooded eyes.
The struggle is certainly real on the winged liner for me. My eyes are not hooded with skin but are so deep set into the socket that I have nowhere to fit the wing. I manage a tiny "faux" wing by drawing a literally vertical line from crease to end of my lash line then connecting with a teeny-tiny triangle. Tight lining doesn't work for me because I have never found a liner that doesn't transfer to the bottom water line which I hate. I add a strip of false lashes which I angle up a bit in the outer corner to create a bit of lift, and of course they hide the 30 minutes I spent on eyeshadow. What's a gal to do🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️??? (As you know, giving up" is not an option😂🤣)
I have totally given up on up winged eyeliner…I couldn’t pull it off when I was a teenager and it definitely hasn’t gotten any better at age 67. I suppose there are much worse things to give up on…and believe me, I don’t give up easily on anything…!!!! In my opinion, It definitely requires a certain eye shape and size to pull off winged liner at any age. When your eye isn’t right for winged liner, it just isn’t right…when one tries to make it work, it looks totally ridiculous.
From what I’ve seen. The time you stamped it with your eye relaxes is the way to go. Then fill in, connect the “dots”. When you lift your eyes the wing is large but when the eye is relaxed it looks right. It kind of looks like a bat wing. The way you did it didn’t look bad even when your eyes are relaxed. It just looked like tiny wings.
Thank you so much for demonstrating. My eyes are hooded. They aren't down turned... the fold ends before outer corner of my eyes. So I might be able to get away with the stamp, I don't know. Doing winged liners is always difficult. My right eye is a little more hooded than my left. My left can handle a nice wing with little trouble, my right is the bane of my existence. So seeing this definitely helps me know the problems I would probably have to deal with with the stamp.
Hi I have the same problem!. My winged eyeliners arrived today and like you o had to alter and fill in as I had so many missing bits on the winged part! Lol 😂. At least it’s a good template for us hooded eye girls! X
Thank you for this! I, too, usually have my eyebrows up when I talk. I can't seem to use liquid liner at all, it's just a big ole mess. But I think that this did well on you.
I like that eye look on you , I have hooded eyes and I still wear eyeliner 🤷🏻♀️ and I get nice compliments on my eye look. I think it makes your eyes pop 🤷🏻♀️🥰👍🏻 Texas Lady🤗
I really like it on you Nisha, it reminded me of Sophia Loren and the 60s, so glamorous on you, and I don't think that it looks at all bad with your eyes down and some outer lashes would enhance the glamorousness even more.
Nisha makes think of Eva Gabor. Always thought Eva was beautiful. She wore the winged eyeliner. Eva is the lady who played the character of Lisa Douglas on Green Acers.😊
Hello Miss! How did you do your hair? Love it, I think I will look as gorgeous like you should you demo it one time. I have a natural salt and pepper hair color and don a medium soft layer style. Thanks in advance.
I bought that same eye liner last year and it took a while for me to get them even with both eyes...lol. But I found it wore off quickly for me. I don't recall if I bought a waterproof one or if that wasn't an option but I find after a few hours, it's gone! I do tear a lot from seasonal allergies so it could be getting dabbed off when I tear. But it was just OK. If it lasted more than 2 hours I would use it more.
I have to say, my eyes are also hooded, so that wouldn't work for me. You have always seemed to be very precise! Me??? Not so much. I took my Lily Lolo with me on my vaca. I did the lighter makeup routine. I wanted to tell you good choice with makeup you packed!! Thank you for showing the stamp. I was thinking get about getting it & now I know it really wouldn't work for me. So a great big thanks for that! !!
But your only looking at your face full face flat on .But everyone else sees you in 3D and looks wonderful . I’m sure when you look back on the video you can see ! It’s very good ! I have the same and thinking about getting a n eyelid surgery my ins. Will pay
I honestly thought you look beautiful with how you did it.. My eyes are so heavily hooded and downturned.. Probably twice as much as yours.. That little piece of flesh turns out to be a huge chunk.... I just bought and found the stamp on Temu for only $2!!! Reviews for it say its the same as the one on amazon so if anyone wants to try it out it is pretty cheap on Temu... Hello Nisha, I just received mine yesterday . Thank you for the tutorial, I think they look amazing, you have beautiful eyes anyway! 🥰🥰
I JUST ordered one of these! I also have hooded eyes… here’s hoping it works for me but I also don’t have much hope.😊
Hi Nisha. I’m so glad that you did this video because I bought that same kit and am in the same situation as you with the hooded eyes. Lol- I was hoping that as I practiced , I would do a better job. Thanks nisha you are lovely with the flicks on your eyes really suit themx
Looks interesting,I don't have hooded eyes.
I use my eyeshadow as eyeliner. Thanks Nisha Jennifer 🤗
Hang out with other people our age they can't see the ragged edges of the eyeliner either Haha 😁
😂😂😂
😂🤣
😅
I do have these in a smaller size and I can make them work but it takes some effort to get things perfect. Thanks 😊
Great job Nisha…..lovely look when you want to change things up 👍🌸

It's like a magic trick when you lift your eyes. Beautiful none the less.

Hi 👋 the first time I joined your channel was about hooded eyes tutorial I would like to see more videos about hooded eyes
This is great for those who DON'T have hooded eyes. They can see exactly what we're up against!!

Hi from Dublin Ireland, yes I’ve tried it too and my eyes are like yours and it just looked like two black dots either side of my eyes
I thought your eyes looked great. But, having hooded eyes myself I know what you’re talking about.
Love ya anyway!!!
Love from NC USA

You need a magnifying mirror with ring light, Nisha. - I thought you once recommended one because you liked it?
I wonder if you used those clear tapes people are using to open their hooded eyes and then used the stamp if it would work?
Thank you for this! I, too, usually have my eyebrows up when I talk. I can't seem to use liquid liner at all, it's just a big ole mess. But I think that this did well on you.

Can I ask where you got your longer necklace from

You look like Zaza Gabor with the winged liner ❤
Hi Nisha, Love your earings 😍 are they still available?
Yes they are rstyle.me/+bzHFukCqCz3iX2Itdq1zSg
It sounds like a great idea but I'd definitely mess that up.
Nisha you need to buy some makeup glasses they're only about £2 on eBay if you do get them please let us know how you got on with them ❤️
The struggle is real x
Investigative reporting at its finest! ❤🙂🙏🏼
🌸🌸🌸
It was not bad at all
I tried it and it didn't work on me😁 they didn't have a stamp with a seven👏🌹💃
But your only looking at your face full face flat on .But everyone else sees you in 3D and looks wonderful . I’m sure when you look back on the video you can see ! It’s very good ! I have the same and thinking about getting a n eyelid surgery my ins. Will pay
I have the very same problem,it's so frustrating when u see lovely young fresh skin and they paint on their ticks with such ease
I'm 65 with hooded eyelids. It didn't work for me. But I'm going to keep playing with it.
I have the stamp and I have deep set eyes and it doesn’t work for me either
I'm 74 and my skin is way loose , on top of that 1 eye has limited vision, so I relate. I don't think this is for me !
I know when my eyes are open you wont even see it but who knows it might look pretty when I blink or look downward... hahah
It seems to be more work than just using an eyeliner to make the flick 😀
Also, if you keep lifting the eyebrows, eventually, wrinkles will appear on the forehead. You're beautiful anyway.
1st 💖😎
You're so funny.."too skinny things on the end" As far as eyesight, you can get one contact in the strength you need and put it
in the eye you''re not doing,or just get a pair of contacts for both eyes. I could never put on makeup without them! I have eyelids
that show not hooded but still some loose skin in the corners ..so yes the skin moves and then it's all jaggedy.. you can't draw on that! It just doesn't work! LOL!
