Another terrific eye video Nisha. I too, have both issues. I must say though, your eyes looked pretty both ways, and even without eyeshadow in this video. The rest of your make up was so lovely. My biggest takeaway though-no highlighter under brow!

Great teaching skills Nisha. Its so obvious once you see how downturned one eye is. And that if you apply the eyeshadow correctly it lifts the eyes up and hides the hood. Best video i have watched. Thank you so much for sharing.x👏🙏❤🇬🇧

Great video Nisha! Thank you as always for the excellent techniques! I have hooded, downturned eyes but they are probably twice as bad as yours. I turned 55 yesterday and have loved being single since I asked for a divorce over 15 years ago. But these eyes are killing my vibe!! I’m at the stage where all the eye makeup tricks take so long for me to do and even after all that time, the final outcome is minimal with diminishing returns. It really affects my confidence because I don’t feel the way my eyes look!! My hoods are pressing on my eyelashes, I think I’m just going to take the plunge and get an upper bleph. Eyes and hair, to me, are the two things that can really age a woman and my eyes need to project that I feel like a 40 year old because I refuse to act the way my eyes are looking and feeling - old! We are at a beautiful stage in our lives with kids grown, we know ourselves and are strong women who have battled a lot - we are an amazing tribe - I don’t want to look war weary, but battle won! Thanks for letting me chat. 🙂

@@StayFabulouswithNisha I think your eyes look great. You’re so committed and really take the time, do the work, to maintain and slow down aging. I should have started earlier with my skin care but have really upped my game in the past few years. I’m happy to share my surgery experience with you, just let me know. By the way, I want to add to your “ya’ll” collection. I’m in MS and there’s plenty of it here! My family is Canadian, but I grew up in the south, SC is my home state. It took forever for my parents to say ya’ll, it was “you all”, and then they’d giggle when they did say it!

🙏💖Thank you again so much for your help, Nisha. What prompted me to subscribe to your Channel in the first place is because I have BOTH of these flaws. It's really depressing, because eye contact the most important detail of body language when talking to someone. I've got so many beautiful pallets of eyeshadow and have been so discouraged to use them any longer, because of THESE TWO EXACT FLAWS you've emphasized in this "DOS AND DON'TS" tutorial. Thank you again ever so very kindly for these important beauty tips, girlfriend. ❤🙏I will try this route. OMG! I'LL TRY THE HALF LASHES, TOO!!!😲💖 That's ANOTHER great disadvantage to hooded and downturned eyes. What a GREAT DIFFERENCE adds to these disadvantages. This is a HUGE HELP!! Thank you, girlfriend!!❤💖🙏😲

Great demo Nisha ! I have hooded eyes, and are getting more hooded by the day ! 😂 No brows either, so another big challenge. I started using my red light mask again. I think it was helping, but then got away from the routine for too long, and could tell. It’s not that hard to do, and I’m mad at myself for quitting it. It’s only 10 minute treatments. Hoping I can turn back a little time. No going under the knife for me. Thanks again for the nice tips, they really work ! ☺️💜☺️

You are the Master of raising the eye and inner eye conceal with light shimmer. Nobody even talks about how effectively you can disguise the inner eye fold from looking droopy & hooded. Refreshers are always good! My face has lightened quite a bit and therefore I've had to go lighter with my transition shade and how much of the dark shades. But nothing looks as gorgeous on blue eyes as black in the very outer corner!! 🤍

@@StayFabulouswithNisha Yes, Nisha, bad weather. Because of such jumps in temperature, my head hurts for the second day, it splits. I began to react to the weather very much with age, you can simply recognize the weather by me. lol. April, and we had half of the monthly rainfall in two days, and -7, the wind. Spring is here somewhere. lol. 😘 Tired of this winter, cold, slush underfoot. Everyone got sick. Just a snow storm. I hope that Easter will come and bring Spring with it. 💐🌸🌺🌸🌺🌸🌺🌸🌺🌸🌺

@@StayFabulouswithNisha Maybe late spring, or maybe in a week everything will melt in an instant and summer will immediately. Now the climate has changed everywhere. Good night dear.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊

Beautiful, thank you as always! I do have a question. When I use 3/4 lashes, even with mascara I feel like the inner natural lashes are so obvious. I use Thrive mascara to extend them but they still look very different. How can I fix that? I have tried individual lash sections but I must not do them correctly. Down turned and hooded eyes have been increasingly troublesome with each passing year 😢

I know what you mean, if your natural lashes are not long or thick enough in the inner corner you can see the difference between them and the falsies, in that case you might have to go for a full strip lashes or you could try to put black kohl liner on your upper water line in that inner corner, I hope that makes sense x

@@StayFabulouswithNisha thank you, I was afraid of that 🤣. Full strips and trim then. Guess I'll get the practice in! Your makeup is always so beautiful ❤️.

Great explanation! I am a makeup artist and would give the same instructions. What a difference. Some people just know but others need a little help. They really appreciate it.

I agree. I too worked doing makeup & won a contest. Truth be told, each & every one of us learn from others. Nisha knows her face & very well explains art illusions so helpful to others & we ourselves. So yes ‘they’… really appreciate it, as we all do… thus y we watch.

This was a superb demo. Especially when you put the light shade on the hood! Oh, and I really like my Martini lashes. They’re so easy to apply.
