@@Em_Ligman ye once it’s forged there’s not really too much worry on anything going very badly wrong so u can push it that bit further which would be amazing to see
Yeah the guy who tuned me has apparently been running a setup like this for over 2 years on stock internals. So I think it should be fine - we’ve mapped that car with that in mind. But the turbo I think can go to 1.8 or even 2.0 bar of boost if I’m not mistaken.
@@Em_Ligman I’ve been tuning for a while now and in my experience I’d say that engine isn’t gonna last unless you forge some internals, do some ARP bolts and get a performance clutch
According to my tuner, he’s ran this exact setup for over 2 years without problems. On stock internals like mine. But I would feel more comfortable with forged internals never the less 😂
i see u dont got the aucustic thing in the hood did it come like that stock or u took it off, mine is falling off and idk if i should take it off or not, mine is the 160hp scirocco
So I’ve got the same spec car as you, and to my knowledge it’s not been mapped. When you talk about boost, when I floor my car and turbo kicks in, on the dial it can say like 1.5-1.6, that’s not the same as the boost you’re talking about, surely?
Yeah 1.5-1.6 bar is likely mapped. I think they make 1.0 bar stock. Mine is not the stock turbo, so 1.6 bar on this should equal to around 260bhp if not more... But if you've seen the dyno video - we're having some serious problems with boost leaks right now :D
@@Em_Ligmancrazy, you sure it’s not maybe just the dial that’s inaccurate maybe for aesthetic purposes? It’s got stock everything else that I can see such as air intake, suspension etc. That said it does feel quite nippy, I guess I’ll find out when I go to get it mapped if it already is! Good luck with the car mate it’s mental what you’re doing haha
@@Em_Ligman mad, yeah we hooked the OBD and it was saying 1.5-6 bars of boost when I was going for it. My mechanic reckons it isn’t because of the time it takes to get to 100, but guess I’ll find out when I go to the garage to get it done to my liking!

How on earth you haven’t burnt the clutch, smashed a valve, blown the head gasket or bent a con rod so far, is beyond me 😂
I have no idea myself... especially the clutch, it is a new clutch but not some fancy performance version from SACHS...

Hmmm I really don't know, some of these EA111 engines can be dangerous to tune. I think it depends on if you have the revised engine

@@keenansmith2509 it seems to match up okay with VCDS data when logging the boost. So i'd say you're probably mapped :D
