You can do whatever is best for your 300 . I wanted to show how to do it step by step if you only used one type of coolant then yes that’s cool as well
I just went to autozone and had them remove the light. But, I will say it’s way too close to the half or just at half now. I over heated yesterday traveling but all I had todo was let off the gas to cool it down. Stays between 215-230 degree Fahrenheit now.
@@ReggieJaySneakz coolant was force feeding out the top after replacing thermostat, radiator, water pump and burping. Had to send top to be resurfaced and tested and repaired 🤦♂️
Man I just pulled up to Vegas and I'm driving and Damme my check engine light comes on so I just went to AutoZone they told me the thermostat housing is bad so now before I head back to Cali I have to change it on 2016 Chrysler 300
I let my car heat up into the temp bar is in the middle. You wanna run the car to make sure nothing leaking and that your temp bar don’t pass the middle line. If your coolant is low after running it add more.
@@deveniquemitchell5461 so the information I got from a mechanic at the dealer is 200 to 220. My used to run at 198/200 now after a new thermostat and coolant it goes up to 220 The fan kicks on and then it goes down to 208/210 and stays there.. supposedly he said that my old thermostat might have been stuck open just a little bit...

Yeah it stay on for a like hour but I could have just disconnected the battery but it went away once the computer knew it was changed.

I got a 2019 300s my temperature gauge is moving up while I sit in traffic but the fan come on to put it back to normal is this because of thermostat

Depend on how loud it ticking mines do it when the oil low after it really quiet. (The ticking can be a lifter)

Same as mines because it wouldn’t go pass the 1/4 mark at all. After changing it runs like a champ still haven’t had any issues.
