I was introduced to her wonderful music with her first Christian album in 1977. Been a fan ever since. I got to meet and pray with her in '81 after a concert.
Correction. I'm glad to know that she lives what she sings about through songs. You can feel her love for God in her music . She hasn't really aged either. She is just as beautiful now as she was back then. God has truly blessed her life,🙏
My God she's just SUCH a cute girl ! How old was she here, 50? She was cute and adorable back in her early-90's heyday, and now she just doesn't seem to age ! Extremely cute, tender and refined; bless her heart !
This is the type of song, that makes everybody in band happy - look at their faces. The fact is that has a lot of potential to PLAY with your instument. You can tell it especially by the bass.
Keith Thomas was the bass player on the original. I understand he also wrote, produced/arranged the song. Amazing bass lines from this stage player as well. Well done. Ben Price - San Antonio
@@colindong7316What steve was stating is that those artist cant touch Amy’s hit because those artists aren’t and don’t define the “simple 90s” as to gaga, swift, and eilish, their songs don’t compare to the simplicity and beauty of the 90’s, with the fun & clean nostalgic sound. :)
Let's stop comparing and appreciate the music and the artist singing. Never mind who's better. They're all unique and different in their own way, which makes their music enjoyable. So maybe you don't like them or their music, but I'm sure just ONE song catches your attention. And if not, so what? Don't need to bash
Love this version! I remember it from an album I had back in 1980. Keyboardist's sound has my heart (partial to keyboards)...though as Runi said, base not bad either :-)
Grant wrote this for her daughter Millie, who was six weeks old at the time. We asked Amy in a 2013 interview what Millie - then 23 years old - thinks of the song. Amy replied: "I think she just says, 'This is the song inspired by me.'" Grant added: "When they were younger, they traveled with me on the bus. I mean, as they got older, I had to take a tutor until they were old enough to not want to travel as much as I did. But I didn't ever force my children to have any kind of emotional attachment to the music I made, because I knew that they would find the music that they loved, and I didn't ever want them to feel pressured. I jokingly have said, 'Oh, I'm so glad I heard 'Baby, Baby' in an elevator the other day, because it's helping defray the cost of your college education.' [Laughing] But it's just like, 'Well, that's what Mom does.'"
@@07trimanIvy is talking about how the way as in “style” was changed, because I’m sure they could make it sound just as 90’s pop-like but Amy prefers a more acoustic live sounding rather than a pop sound.
she is one of the greatest singers I have ever heard...love Amy! Kisses from Brazilian fan!

@@keythdanielsen9315 well I am happy to know that she is just as beautiful on the inside as her love for God that she delivers through songs 🙏

I had a crush on Amy when I was a pre-teen. This doesn't help. LOLOLOL. All love.
The late GREAT Will Owsley on guitar. His solo stuff is the best power pop out there.
Owlsley is tragically underrated.
A true Christan role model and woman of integrity

Bassist is on another level. I believe he once played with Christian rock band, White Heart... I maybe wrong.
Shes still very attractive imo

Gary Lunn on bass
Jesus is good!
😂😂😂 had the biggest crush on her in year 5……….😅
Which year is this?
I luv her strong jawline, Amy call me or i'm going with Jennifer Aniston!
Amy had "The Rachael" hairstyle almost a decade before Jennifer Aniston....she also had Jen's nose first, as well.
Kim Keyes on the set
I don't like the way she has changed the way she sings the song. It was perfect how she sung it in the nineties.
This version works very well.
No, not really.
I think she has lost much of the vocal range she had back then. the high notes are too hard for her to hit so she changes the key.

This newer version is acoustic and lower key, even in 97 she was playing this version
sounds like a "Temptations" kinda song.......
I like Amy’s leather

C'est vrai qu'elle est décédée ? 🤷
Harold n kumar anyone
bigmaxcc that's Wilson Phillips, genius.
Who in gods name would ever want to hear this “song” ffs. I only came here out of pure hate.
