This is absolutely weird, Mal literally said the topic of Joe was a nonstarter! So it was obviously an unspoken thing that no one from the organizations would speak of, or interact with Joe Budden. Rory & Mal never touch on JB hot topics. There have been plenty of moments over the years-from Slaughterhouse fallout to the sleepwalking incident-that could’ve easily boosted their numbers, but they stayed away. I can see why Julian might think he wasn't allowed, even if they never said it outright.
