- The remote was found! People think that caregiving is easy if your loved one lives in a facility. But I am here to tell you...whether they are in a facility or at home, it is challenging if you commit to being there and still providing care. My husband planned another Friday night date and I was super late trying to make sure Mama ate dinner and her clothes were hung.

No harm, no foul, alzheimers, dementia, sometimes they get things wrong. Sometimes they are right too, that's why some wish to deny that the condition exist. I'm glad the remote showed up. The patients can't be to blame, it is difficult to keep up with things in a facilities. This condition have many challenges. ❤🙏

Anita Baker is my favorite artist. My daughter wanted to get me tickets to her concert for my birthday last year but. I had a cruise booked for the date she was going to be in my town.
You’re a great daughter taken care of her. I have dementia too. I have my good days and bad days not as bad as your mom, but my daughter helps me out a lot. She’s 23 and I’m in my 60s just when you see your kids taking care of you , just know she loves you❤

Hey Crystal, invest in one of those wagon carts on wheels for when emptying car for Norm.
I have tried so many carts. Too much work getting them in and out of my sportscar. Then ever more work with the elevator and steps. It's just easier and FASTER to carry.
@@divasanddementia4925 , I bought one on Amazon a collapsable the wheel transition when on steps. That thing folds up so tight and small can’t imagine how big it is.

Good morning, you are doing an excellent job!! I take care of both of my parents and YASSS THE STRUGGLE IS REAL!! I want you to get a pull/push cart so that you can bring the clothes in so that it's easier for you.
I have several carts that are more trouble than they are worth. It's faster and easier for me to just carry than trying to shove into my tiny car, fight stairs, elevators....everyone is suggesting this. Trust me when I tell y'all, I've tried it all.

You're an amazing daughter!! Cudos and High Fives to You!! May I suggest; you may want to purchase a collapsible wagon or cart to use when you have bundles of things that you need to bring to your Mom or when you take her dirty laundry home. I really feel like the Facility should provide a luggage trolley; as used in hotels or some type of cart for family members to use.
She tried that before it's too much work, too much hassle.

Divas...we need to get u a portable basket. So that when u need to carry groceries or laundry from the car to the door or from the door to the car. I take my basket with me everywhere with me. Take care #hvac/r

I have 2. It's more trouble than it's worth with the steps and elevator and folding and trying to get it in and out of my little trunk that's full of mama's stuff. It's much faster for me to just carry it.

I do but as I said in the video, I was rushing to make it in by the time the food came and I forgot the clothes completely. At that point, I was not gonna move my car and lose my parking spot.
