One particular "Leg Day," my workout partner stated he was really "feelin' it." So, on the leg press, we started with 270 lbs; then he added 2 plates on each side...450 lbs; next set, he put 2 plates again...630 lbs; next set, 2 plates again...810; this time, only 1 plate per side...900 lbs. We both did that last set for reps, I believe it was 5 reps...I HAVE NOT DONE THAT SINCE. I was sore the next 2 days, but thankfully didn't injure myself. I'll be 67 next month, not bad for a man my age, some would say stupid.

What about using the Hack Squat vs Leg Press?
I been exercise since grade school started lifting weights at 13 years old I’m 51 now and never do 20 reps a set or just for a warm up 👏🤣
