The N-Line is never a higher trim than the Limited though, Limited always means best and N-line always means at least a little cheaper than the Limited. The N-line should have been based on the plugin-hybrid, which has the most horsepower, rather than the naturally aspirated engine which is actually the slowest trim.
Good catch on the flares. I can name quite a few "luxury" brands that do not paint the flares except on their very top performance models that cost $60-$80k.
I love the styling of the N-Line trim. But disappointed in not having a turbo engine and panoramic /moon roof option. I might as well get the SEL Premium Package.
I was expecting this to have at least the upgraded (201hp) engine. After all that's what's going on in the Elantra. Whatever the case may be, there needs to be more consistency throughout the lineup with the use of N vs N-Line. Sometimes it's cosmetic, other times it's not. Personally, I'd prefer the Tuscon in full N vs the upcoming Kona N. At least Hyundai listened and is bringing the Elantra N as much as I would have preferred the 5-door.
100% agree. I mean at least put the Elantra N engine 2.0 turbo in this. With the weight from the Tucson it should still perform fairly decent as a N-line option. If they wanted to make a pure (N) then put the 2.5 turbo in it getting close to that 300 HP mark. This is actually very disappointing.
I hate the rear turn signals the most. They’re halogens and are located down at the bumper. I can’t stand why Hyundai still does that in most of their cars in over 1O years

Yeah I have a 2019 Tuscon Night which I love but my N-line has the panoramic roof and the new one doesn't. I agree with you guys they should have the hybrid with the N-line trim level. Wouldn't get the new one that has less than what I currently have.

It has to be noted: Hyundai fired on all cylinders with the Tucson. They literally have something for every buyer in the small CUV class. Want a base model? Loaded? Hybrid? Loaded hybrid? Sporty model? They got you covered, all in a stylish package. While I may not agree with all of Hyundai's styling decisions(the Sonata still has some awkward proportions to me for instance), this vehicle has great road presence for something in this class. Then Hyundai didn't forget to design a great and functional interior. They may not take down the RAV4 or CRV for top sales, but this vehicle isn't nearly as boring.(save for the RAV4 Prime that can cost $50k in some markets). The only thing I wish is if Hyundai would've broken all rules and put the 2.5T in this model. Ever since Subaru discontinued the turbo Forester, there hasn't really been a hot-rod in this class, save again for that pricey RAV4 Prime. I also wish they'd allow the 10" display to be optional on the N-Line, but oddly enough it does not allow for wireless Carplay/Android Auto on any H/K product. And also no moonroof for the N-Line? Maybe this is all due to parts shortage and allocation efforts?
Kona rear cargo space is a little lacking. Kia does it a little better with the seltos. Need something in between Kona and Tucson now that Tucson has gotten so big. Tucson is practically the same size as Santa Fe now
Sad that this is just a cosmetic package. Looks like an aftermarket turbo kit and more aggressive exhaust is going to be a must as soon as it's off the dealer lot.
I was going to get the Kona N, but looks like they won't be in by the time my lease is up on my 19 Kona Ultimate. Think I'm going to get this Tuscon instead
