I'll be honest, I have never heard of Emirichu until Scribble Showdown a while back. I recognized everybody there but was also like *_"Who is this 'Emirichu' you speak of?"_* And apparently, she seemed to be a popular animator among the UA-cam community... That I *_somehow_* was never aware of. So imagine my surprise when I found out that she not only does entertaining videos on UA-cam; but is also a VTuber now. I don't think I will regret falling down this rabbit hole.
I watched your videos once for like 2-3 years ago and I found your channel again and I've watched like 10-20 of your videos that I didn't watch before. Keep up the good work!

Steaming content seems so much more difficult to make good content than on a UA-cam video, because during steaming seems like a handful. Even animating on its own takes forever. Good luck on keeping up your schedule!
It's more like hanging out and you actually get to know the people a lot better than you do in youtube videos (obviously depends on the streamer because some don't want to talk about personal stuff/ have a persona for streaming) but with many including emirichu and cdawg it definitely is the case.
From personal experience going from UA-camr to twitch streamer, by the way I still use this UA-cam channel to post stuff, but I've been doing a lot more twitch streaming lately, it's actually a lot more laid back, and I found it a lot less stressful than trying to arrange a decent video to post every single week or bi-weekly. I found myself posting a lot less on my UA-cam channel, because I was so involved with twitch, and it was a way to make content without stressing myself out
I don't think I've ever seen someone on YT develop a vtuber model/persona without making the switch completely over to it - it's pretty cool that you value what you've already developed highly enough to want to keep at it, as well as get comfortable with something new.
The post that revealed how and why you got the VTuber model was absolutely wholesome and hilarious. I can't post the link, but just search up "Emirichu Twitter vtuber" it should be about the third thing that pops up. More specific details in the third reply.

The model is good. But it doesn't scream "Emirichu". It doesn't have any element of her original design. She could have added a black and white pin (to represent her old shirt). But it's the first design, the design will evolve with her.
Gotta love how Emi looks out for her fans on both sides of the spectrum be them fans of her Vtuber self or fans of her Pre-VTuber self. All the love for her.
I think this will be a nice change of "scenery". Having just relaxed casual streams over the normal chaotic UA-cam videos will be a welcome change. Also, Emirichu if you're reading this, you should consider creating a Discord Server for your Twitch/UA-cam channel(s)! It'd be super fun to hang out and chill with other fans from said channels.
