Belief in the People of the Book: When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was said to be coming to Madinah, the greatest Jewish scholar of Madinah, Hasin bin Salamah, studied their books and understood the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) by observing, examining and verifying them. @@desertmoon2158 Brother desert moon. May Allah bless your collection of " zikr" ( stories of past). I don't know what is to do with the topic on Quran. Allah and Quran "ALONE" is enough for me. It is not possible for me as convert to study in depth the Holy Quran in this lifetime. I wish to learn and practice complete Islam in Hereafter
@@oppomimizhou4229 thank u dear brother, jajjakkallah khairan, ,i am from bangladesh, I have sent you the above articles to dispel your doubts about Islam and to more strengthen your faith in Islam. If you want to know more about Islam you should not just read the commentary(tafseer) of the Qur'an by yourself. You should go to a Haqqani scholar (aleem) from time to time and learn directly,
@@desertmoon2158 Thank you. I'm proud that I accept the Quran and the Teacher and prophet of Islam ( Muhammad). We have many records of the prophet in china during Ming Dynasty. The emperor used to love Muslims and deal business with them and even wrote poems and songs about prophet Muhammad. It is no point mastering the whole Quran while we still believer our president , prime minister or leader of country still oppress us. So far after I accept Islam I have not been persicuted by Government. I mean no harm to people and I read the Quran and translate as is to people.. It is Allah who makes people understand. I don't believe in detail manmade commentaries no matter how authentic. Allah will make us understand what we deserve. It is better to know less then to know too much but with doubts. I accept Islam for only 9ne reason. This is to liberate myself from all human pressure and rules. If we fear our leader will kill us because we follow Allah then we have not yet reached a strong faith ( imaan). That's my personal believe and struggle. May Allah guide us to simple life

Alhamudulillah it's only when you rewatch these segments that you get to understand more. The explanation about why we should only seek to know Allahh and our deen from the Quran alone. Great piece of information there.
SALAMUN ALAIKUM,so beautiful, subhan Allah, heart touching information by the Quran alone, this knowledge actually comes from Allah,we believe it,those are ignor with us they are not muttakun.
MASHA ALLAH, I have revisited this clip and in each time I have got new insights. Its like you are reaping the fruits as if you can clearly see it throught telescope. MASHA ALLAH. the Quran just quenches your thirst for understanding....
17:46 subhanAllah! They moved the words of Allah from their places! When the student is ready the teacher appears! Alhamdulillah! This is my introduction to your lectures!
Simply Great. Allah bless you. Some reverted Muslims who accepted Islam by reading Quran ( not by daawa) , simple translations ( like Yusuf Ali) also come up with similar understanding of Quran like Dr. Hany. Though they don’t teach like Dr. Hany but when they mention Quranic teachings for relevance purpose, they give explanation like Dr. Hany. How is it???
The content presented, the interpretations are completely new and reasonable at the same time. It has always been hard for humans to let go of the religion blueprints they got in early childhood, specially from elders. The content is really throught provoking. But, an untrained brain will usually discard an idea that creates a conflict within his brain, against his childhood blueprints of ideas, which might be causing people to critize the channel or avoid the new ideas altogether.
Thank you Dr. Hany. Day by day it is getting easier for me to understand the quranic methodology. Alhamdulillah. When I used to read the various translations of the quran, jumping from one translation to another just because it felt that this can not possibly be the actual meaning, I could never find a suitable translation to pacify my tormented soul. May be the instinct that guided me to search for the truth came from some part of my pristine self(fitra), may be from some part which was still unobscured by the many influences of this world. Sometimes I wonder if everything in this world has an outer superficial version and an inner deeper one, the actual truth which connects to our fitra. May be everything is connected in a deeper level. I have much to learn..... awaiting the next video... Thank you.
Salaamun Alaykum, Alhamdullilah! It is my umpteenth time to watch this segment …and it never fail to provide new insight each time and with greater clarity. May Allahh guides us ever closer to the truth! Jazakallahu Khayran
Many follow the traditions of men rather than God by following leading interpretations and ignoring the words before them or by thinking "why read? It has already been interpreted to me." I enjoy the objective approach you take toward the text. It is refreshing and I believe going to prove invaluable in my acquiring of the arabic language, specifically the increasing of my knowledge in The Word. I'll be studying with this channel much more often.
17: 46 is absolute brilliancy. i don't know how to describe it. but with the explanation, i came to understand so many things. Alhamdulillah. thank you sir.
Wonderful!!!! Alhamdulillah. Thanks to Dr Hanny. Today I understand clearly 75: 16-21 (waiting !! anxiously for 75:22-30) and feel the sense in 3:190-191. Many more I am waiting to receive ...but again no rush...no hurry.. don't want be of like 75:21. Jazakallahu khairan.
Alhamdulillah. Blessed that I found this lessons. It is unfortunately for me that I don't understand Arabic. Nevertheless I an grateful with the explanation
It is the duty of all scholars to come up with the truth of Islam to save the human being also themselves. Many scholars are hiding themselves with their wrong attempts and knowledge to loose their reputations. Quran is Authorized / Approved by Allah in Sura Bakara. Hadith's are approved by none? Most of the Hadiths are found contradictory with the Quran. Hadeeth's were written by human greatly influenced by the leaders after the caliphs. we have the Quaran as our prime source which was protected by Allah, we don’t need anything else. Allah’s word is the most important… Allah’s opinion is most valuable. Pl do not comment without proper knowledge of Quran. All scholars are requesting to help Dr. Hany to correct himself if any thing he is addressing out of Quran. Thanks Dr.Hany for his consorted efforts. May Allah guide us to learn the truth. الله اكبر
Very interesting I ended up seeing the video talking about Rab samavat interesting that I always looked at it like a cryptic text that needs some spirtual click to decipher. I asked a question about who is God after being bombarded online with some videos proving no God. And Rab samavat ayat came immediately after I consulted scripture I knew it is saying sth beyond its translation. So happy I saw your video it confirms my intuition and feels so good to know.

So far, there is no contradiction between what I learned from the Quran, and what physicists have proven (scientifically, empirically, not by relying on hypotheses) about the creation of Earth.

Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakatahu. Pls excuse as I dont know to quote the Ayah - but " ALAA ZIKRILLAAH THATHMA'INNA ALQULOUB " I keep asking surely there is more to this assurance from Allaahu Azza Jal than saying Zikr ( Thasbeeh, Tahleel etc.,) ???? I couldn't get a satisfactory response from the Ulamaas that I know from whom I have questioned. But Alhamdulillaah my reasoning is now clearer by learning here the depth of "ZIKR" in these sessions and unraveling of ILM. Allaahumma Ihdeena wa Saddidnaa. Barakallaahufeekuma wa jazakallah khair
شكرا جزيلا .. I am learning and improving a lot from your lectures. Alhamdulillah.. Yes, the current state/situation of majority is that they do not consider Quran authentic enough, it really shocked me and saddened my heart, so many times in many jamaats today, where they would find it ridiculous if I ever presented a very clear verse from the Quran for some questions that may arise, they would reply.. "We need to find an authentic source".(and then they would accept an hadeeth picked up randomly from internet, they would accept it even if it is against tue spirit of the Quran). I pray to Allah swt for guidance, insha'Allah.. .. And that which was mutashabihat before becomes clearer (muhkamat) after the process? May Allah swt always keep you protected and under His mercy..
MashaAllah Dr Hany……..after you, my ears have rejected all others! Even some of whom I’ve studied with for some time. But I can’t just receive these beautiful gifts without saying thank you every time Sir. Thank you n a big hug literally with flowing tears all the time. May Allah S.W.T’s rewards flowing upon you abundantly. Could you answer this for me please? Why and what does it mean…….underneath which rivers flow, ‘tajri-min-taHti-hal-anhaar’ that follows ‘Jannaat’ all the time? Thank you
Quran has indeed more wisdom that one could see and interpret. That said, to only give meaning to what you think it says while leaving the clear explanations of the verses out, I see it as basically changing the meaning of the Quran.
@@MarvelousQuran *Changing the meaning of the Quran from what they taught you?* No changing Quran meaning from Arabic to Germanic Mathematics. Quran is not something you connect one later from first chapter to another letter in the middle of another chapter, change its meaning in Arabic and create some totally crazy Hypothesis. You are not qualified. I didn't watch a lot of your vidoes but those I did tell me you don't look like you read Quran from cover to cover. At least not any time soon. Try as much as you want, no one who cares about Islam will accept it. You might get neocons, people with no knowledge about Islam, deviants, etc watch you play with Quran meanings. It is not we did not have Zanadiqa in Islam. We had it, they tried, the lost and now they are history.
This a very deep technical analysis of the Qur'an, especially for layman like myself. Thank you for doing this. But a quick question, that is not related to the main topic but instead on the overall approach that you mentioned... I'm very intrigued about the "invoked the zikr of your Lord in the Qur'an alone". Are you saying it's enough for most people to only learn (from) the Qur'an alone? Or should we only learn from the Qur'an alone for everything? And not look into the other types of explanations you mentioned (such as hadith, tafseer, seerah, etc). Or were you only referring to this ayat/zikr/stories? Thank you in advance for your answer!
No no. The aya is only talking about Zikr. It does not mean that other parts of the Quran are ok to have other sources dominate over them The Zikr is the repository of vocabulary, so by necessity, everything else follows
@@MarvelousQuran Got it. The zikr (story of earlier people) are the history. Whereas other topics in the Qur'an, it's OK to consult other sources, correct?
Yet another excellent and insightfull lecture. It is worrying now, as non-arabic speaker, to trust any interpretations of the quran. I think most people just don’t have the time to do their own in-depth research (The good doctor has dedicated 40 years plus to this work). Most of us reley on others who claim to be experts in this field to receive their “Daily bread”, as it were. It would seem that it is being claimed that the majority of eminent scholars past and present have adopted a lazy / hasty interpretation.
My brother... How do you decide if a certain butcher sells Halal meat that you consider acceptable for you to consume? The answer is of course, if the butcher follows the correct process in selecting animals and in slaughtering animals for consumption. In other words, if the butcher did not follow the Quranic methodology for selecting and butchering the meat animals, then you would not consider that butcher reliable... This is all we are saying about the books of Tafseer: If the book of Tafseer did not follow the Quranic methodology, then they are not reliable... DO we want you to throw them away? Of course not. We never claimed that you should do that. But know that you are consuming opinions of dead people, not necessarily obtained in the way Allahh prescribed for us in the Quran. Regards
@@MarvelousQuran Thank you for your reply it is much appreciated. It is understood you are not trying to reinvent the wheel but rather modifying it to be a better wheel. As you know, and as others have stated that many times authors do not state thier methodology and in fact your videos are some of the few that provide a comprehensive approach to methodology. Your other point regarding scholars / witnesses that have passed away are very true. We can only question what they have left behind (many a good Phd disseration have been based on this notion) Unfortunately most preachers and conveyors or knowledge are not scholars or well versed in “Methodology”, they less understand what it is let alone apply it. Most only repeat parrot fashion what they have read or heard, which,if traced, go back to the same early sources, that you allude to being sometimes questionable.
I just found this video, I really loved the beginning part, i saved it and shared with some friends that speak better English and Arabic than me, having said that, something made me think and i don't what it is exactly but I didn't subscribe or like. Maybe it has to do with you asking for it many times, maybe it's the way you were being a little defensive or maybe it's just me and my skepticism but I plan to listen again, insha Allah. Thank you
Relating to the word "Faakiha"; Labouring(hands) diligently at any discipline with patience and perseverance brings one closer to the CREATOR, and only in that way will greater knowledge be forthcoming. Each to its own merits, from the least menial to the most sophisticated (hands) labour intensive disciplines, across religious affiliations. The Amish people as an example. So...how many "scholars" hands were actually trained in a physical discipline other than just lifting a pen? Remember the incident when Umar ibn Khattab coerced the people out of the mosque to find work, or the one where our most Honoured Nabi advised people to even collect firewood rather than to beg. Scratching and hurting your hands and calling out aloud "YA ALLAH" in the process of working, humbles oneself instantly!
Agreed! All disciplines are required for a good Ummah. However, this does not absolve anyone from engaging the Quran, each to his/her abilities. Regards
As Salaam U Alaikum Dr Hany, thank you so much for teaching us Quran the proper way with the proper methodology. May Allah bless you and increase your status in Paradise. This channel is fast becoming my most favorite UA-cam channel. Dr can you do other small surahs (like you did with Surah Zalzalah)so that when we perform prayer we can read the surahs with the correct translation and understanding in our mind. Also, in your prior videos you have clearly explained the word "Jannah" i.e as you mention the pearls you unraveled , the good interpretation of a word or a sentence, or the understanding of what the Quran is saying, the feeling you get when Allah makes you understand something you didn't know previously. My question is, so this is the Jannah here, what about the Jannah in the afterlife, how do the Quran describe it? Correct me if i'm wrong Sir, when the Quran is talking about Gardens and dates and rivers (of honey and milk etc)and grapes and vines, all these are symbolic language, isn't it? and some as you already explained refer to the "Jannah" here. So in the afterlife how do Allah describe "Jannah"? Again many thanks to you for giving us so many gifts Dr Hany. JazakAllah Kairun.
Salaamun Alaykum. Masha Allahh. Very good question. Please watch the video titled "What is the purpose of life" (the second video ever in this channel). To answer your question, you have to understand why Allahh gave us freedom of choice in the first place... Basically, you are right now creating your future self which you will be stuck with for eternity. That phase of your existence includes the Jannah you want, if you know what you want from what you learned in the Quran here. Our beloved SAWS said that it cannot be imagined based on our current senses. All we can hope for is to have the "locution" to articulate our desires when we get there.

It is mentioned in the book that the last prophet is Muhammad bin Abdullah. He and other Jews went to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and converted to Islam. The Prophet (peace be upon him) then named him Abdullah bin Salama (peace be upon him). He later became a great devout disciple. Verification is the last prophet that is true.

Brother desert moon.
Thank you.

Simply Great.
Allah bless you.
Some reverted Muslims who accepted Islam by reading Quran ( not by daawa) , simple translations ( like Yusuf Ali) also come up with similar understanding of Quran like Dr. Hany.
Though they don’t teach like Dr. Hany but when they mention Quranic teachings for relevance purpose, they give explanation like Dr. Hany.
How is it???
Absolutely stunning and this is the real true of understanding our Book. Thank you may Allah bless you
The content presented, the interpretations are completely new and reasonable at the same time.
Alhamdulillah. The Quran, and this 3ilm, is for people who take the time and put the effort to think.

Thank you.

Many follow the traditions of men rather than God by following leading interpretations and ignoring the words before them or by thinking "why read? It has already been interpreted to me." It is the duty of all scholars to come up with the truth of Islam to save the human being also themselves.

It has been proved and resolved that Rasulullah SAW was the Messenger of Allah about fourteen hundred and fifty years ago. However, some clear evidence is mentioned very briefly here.
1. Before the advent of the Prophet, a man named Zayd bin Amer went to a religious guru in Damascus in search of Deen of Ibrahim. The guru told him, "Today you will not find a single person following this religion. However, a prophet carrying the banner of this religion will soon appear and his arrival will take place in the place from which you have come. Go and meet him. ”Ibn Hisham 18 v. 249 p.
2. The ultimate enemy of the Prophet, who had long been hostile to the Prophet, after much verification and observation, finally accepted the Prophet as true after 21 years, and they did not leave Islam the next time, and they were devoted Muslims to Islam. Abu Sufyan, Khalid bin Walid, Hinda, Amr bin Al As, Sohail bin Amr, Ikrama bin Abu Jahl, Safwan bin Umayya, Shaiba bin Utbah are the worst enemies of the Prophet who made the life of the Prophet unbearable and devastating for a long time. ALHAMDULILLAH........thank you once again! interpretation of zikr as remembrance alone, it seems, deflects apprehension of the very subtle shirk, inherent in the superimposition of others' narrative of ALLAH'S stories and parables in the QURAN.......Very subtle. Jaza-K

Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakatahu.
Pls excuse as I dont know to quote the Ayah - but " ALAA ZIKRILLAAH THATHMA'INNA ALQULOUB "
I keep asking surely there is more to this assurance from Allaahu Azza Jal than saying Zikr ( Thasbeeh, Tahleel etc.,) ????
I couldn't get a satisfactory response from the Ulamaas that I know from whom I have questioned.
But Alhamdulillaah my reasoning is now clearer by learning here the depth of "ZIKR" in these sessions and unraveling of ILM.

Al-Baqarah 2:25

Quran has indeed more wisdom that one could see and interpret. That said, to only give meaning to what you think it says while leaving the clear explanations of the verses out, I see it as basically changing the meaning of the Quran.
Changing the meaning of the Quran from what they taught you? Of course! Because what they taught you is not in line with the Quran itself
@@MarvelousQuran
*Changing the meaning of the Quran from what they taught you?*
No changing Quran meaning from Arabic to Germanic Mathematics.

Only Zikr, which is the repository of the divine lexicon.
I see. So, for other things/topics, should we (is it acceptable) to consult the understanding of other types of books (hadith, tafseer, seerah, etc)?
No no. The aya is only talking about Zikr. It does not mean that other parts of the Quran are ok to have other sources dominate over them
The Zikr is the repository of vocabulary, so by necessity, everything else follows
@@MarvelousQuran Got it. The zikr (story of earlier people) are the history.
Whereas other topics in the Qur'an, it's OK to consult other sources, correct?
No. Plz read the replies

Its very nice I was waiting for this explanation
Alhadulillah
Excellent video
Alhamdulillah
