- Amanda Shenton discusses her experiences of anxiety and fear. She recounts some of her early fears and her separation anxiety from her mother. Amanda explains how her anxiety changed overtime in middle school and her memories during the 9/11 attacks. Amanda Michelle Shenton is a former high school Italian teacher who, after spending 6 years in the educational setting, left her career behind in search of a more balanced lifestyle. Amanda is the founder of Life, Lessons & Lavender, an online coaching business that has helped women around the world, from Australia, to Europe, to various locations within the United States, to heal their anxiety from the inside, out using mindfulness as a tool. I didnt know it wasnt normal to have fears of your family dying when you were young. Huh.
Thank you for sharing your experiences! Anxiety is a big problem nowadays(
Easier said than done.
The most recent panic attack I had, I actually vomited. And I have yet to figure out what it was about.
I used to vomit also when I started having MH issues. I thought I had anxiety but then learnt (from a random chat with someone) that I was actually suffering with PTSD. 8 years on and I still have panic attacks and Im gripped with generalised anxiety, but these videos really help me change my perspective. I really hope you find the answers you are looking for and find ways to cope with yours. Its a marathon not a sprint and you have to learn to be patient with yourself. I genuinely wish you all the best and every success
