So last time we went over the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom being absolutely insane, but it had come to my attention that there was one that was worse…the My Hero Academia fandom. The MHA fans are notorious for being extremely cringe. So since My Hero Academia Season 7 is getting into the swing of things, I thought it was a good time to cover this fandom. The chemistry part is so so true, especially with the infamous Genshin and HSR fandom. They’re practically allergic to straight ships, and the moment someone makes one, they get attacked to hell. Eh. I remember the endless tide of fanfics putting Naruto and Sasuke together. This was pre-time skip too so they weren't even 16. Naruto getting feminized to make a ship hetero? Lots of that too. Sakura and Kakashi as a couple? Sure, thousands of those. Don't even get me started on what they did to poor Kiba.
Naruto was the starter anime for the mid-00's, so lots of people got into it hot and heavy with tweenage hormones raging and no real limits on expressing their still developing kinks. Only difference with the MHA fandom is was now the 2010's, anime was more mainstream, and social media was proving itself just an absolute disaster for humanity.

as a fan of MHA day 1, i can say that i never understood how this fandom become like this, is curious to be honest, the fandom is indeed the reason why people enjoy MHA with certain Confidence. Also confirming something that you said there are indeed a lot of good things and normal fans in the fandom, but the bad things generally are more Louder.

Uraraka specificly I have seen being used in so many shitposts. Like one guy made a couple of memes of her using hollow purple and stuff with amazing japanese voice acting. And that was actually pretty funny.
You also have the entire community who is currently roasting deku's new haircut so that spawned a bunch of new memes too. (Even uraraka insulted that hair cut in the manga)

I will never get how people manage to turn an anime about teenagers learning to be heroes into a show about the main character having 500 romantic relationships at once! It's even more annoying that most of the fandom has the reputation that the other part of the fandom has put on us. It's only about 5% of the actual fandom, the rest of it just likes superheroes (or villains doing their thing I guess). My first experience with the MHA fandom was in Fall 2019 when I went to a local con in a half abandoned mall where I was cosplayed as Ash Ketchum and my friend was cosplayed as Himiko Toga. Somehow we ended up in the middle of the food court with 40 other MHA cosplayers who were all singing that Todoroki All Star song while t posing. There were people eating there. WTF. My friend and I also got chased through the mall by some of the MHA cosplayers and we had to hide in the clothing racks in Belk to get away from them.

I stopped watching anime when my hero S3 was a thing, I remember seeing these fans and I was just in shambles, felt I needed therapy. Then when I started getting back in I was thinking of if I should get back into MHA, I saw everyone including the fans hating on MHA, but than my cousin said fuck them & watch it. And I will say my hero is a good anime I recommend just the fans are cringe or toxic…but mostly cringe like it stated it the first 2-5 mins.
It’s not good tho. Dude, Horikoshi literally ripped off Killer Queens ability from JoJo piece by piece and even word for word. He didn’t even try to change the ability description except he replaced the word bomb with explosive. The show has absolutely nothing going for it other than the setting
