Examples of one shot: Kaido vs Luffy first fight, Bellamy vs Luffy first fight, Shanks vs Kid, these are one shot, while Zoro vs Lucci or Kizaru vs Luffy(first fight) are NOT, it took some time and clash to reach that point.

It is a stand with influence over calamity but they take the author's word of calamity as a concept being the strongest in the verse, not WOU itself, so they just automatically scale it beyond everything else. What gets crazy is that WOU is kind of the Sakuna of JoJo: Due to scaling, people say it solos other verses without having enough feats. Characters attacked and survived Wonder of You multiple times, yet whenever there is cross verse discussion, no matter the defenses they insist WOU would cause someone to immediately die from a heart attack if persued, which honestly Bites the Dust was better at.

The people who attacked WOU lived on multiple occasions; you can defeat WOU and it persists, but if you have some form of infinite-logic defying energy, then you can erase it. I'm willing to bet Act 4 could beat WOU, which does kind of contradict what happened in the flashback, but there is still an argument to be made. The damage from calamity is based on the object used. WOU hasn't been show to be able to immediately cause Illness, the most if can make you do it cut yourself with a knife, rather than directly attack your body with an illness. TL:DR - The scaling for WOU is taken out of context, and because of a statement that never had logic applied to it, people use it as a win condition, even though there are ways to kill, and destroy said calamity. WOU does not guarantee a kill regardless of the situation
IMO: Mihawk is stronger than Shanks, but Shanks has more power, like political power, and is thus a bigger threat. Also he's scarier to fight. Mihawk would solo you, but if Shanks starts losing, he has a bunch of other high tier haki men ready to jump you. I think that makes sense narratively.
Nah tbh. I think when Oda mentioned that he's the world's best swordsmen, he meant it. When we're comparing sword skills, Mihawk does beat Shanks, but if we look at the overall power of the character, like Haki and stuff, Shanks tops it by a bit.

IMO it’s been laid out pretty clear so far that overall Shanks is stronger. But Mihawk can’t be matched when it comes to swordsmanship. And while I’m sure Mihawk has some top tier haki. Shanks has currently shown us the best haki feats in the verse. So while Mihawk is still a yonko level fighter I don’t have him beating the top yonko like Shanks and Kaido in a 1v1.

If you make another part pls don't forget rimuru. Rimuru wasn't that popular until the goku effect. fans who read the wn or heard about the wn started spreading rumours that he could beat goku. And everybody took it and ran with it. If you ask anyone manga, anime or ln rimuru vs goku. they'd immediately say rimuru when in truth wn rimuru is the only one with uni to multi feats and current ln rimuru hasn't even passed solar system level. A lot of them just use hearsay and don't even research him. And as we know WN is not canon. The canon is mostly ln, manga and anime but the damage has been done. Rimuru is now an omnipotent character despite anime and manga rimuru just being around country to continnental levels of strength.

Rimuru is Uni even in Anime. Beelzebub itself is capable of sucking up a universe in its imaginary space. LN Rimuru unlocked Turn Null which is capable of creating and destroying Multiverses. Read LN Volume 15. And WN is just beyond that. Also Rimuru also has a far better character than Goku
When it comes to Gojo, I don't think that sealing him is a good enough expllination of how OP he is. A far better example would be the fact that the author had to make Domain Expansions have guaranteed hit passives, objects that can nullify CE, inability to use your abilities to their fullest after DE and so on. This makes very little sense, especially for Cursed Technics that already have a sure hit effect such as Nobara or Todo.
obviously the author isn’t going to make an unbeatable character with no counter-play for almost all the other characters, if these things weren’t in the manga, gojo wouldn’t be as strong as he is, or everybody else would be extremely stronger

Everyone who talks about infinity and how Gojo is the strongest character ever just for some reason skipped all the chapters explaining all the weaknesses. For example Gojo has to train infinity to stop certain things, so if he gets attacked with a power he doesn’t know he cannot block it. Remember it took some time for infinity to block poison.

Let me cook (spoilers ahead): Zoro deserves his glaze bc he has kept his word of not loosing to anyone after mihawk. I don’t understand why people say he is on par as luffy since luffy not only is his leader but is also a literal god, nor do I understand why he would beat kaido since kaido is the main antagonist. I’d say he’s right in between luffy and sanji, and sanji isn’t really zoro’s level, he hasn’t gotten any good fights other than queen, and sanji was not only pissed off, but he had a literal super suit. The thing about zoro is zoro is fully human, no df, no bs, just a normal guy who trains hard, sanji is a full on robot kid. Sanji hasn’t demonstrated anything to prove he could stand a chance against the king of hell himself other than when they start fighting, but they don’t really take that seriously Toji is a man with zero cursed energy who was able to go on par with the strongest sorcerer on the time (doesn’t matter he is a teen he is still the strongest), and he did kill gojo, but he didn’t make sure he couldn’t revive himself. Just because he is a deadbeat doesn’t mean he’s weaker or anything, and of course maki has to carry his power level since the guy is gone, but in a world where cursed energy is a must, he’s top 8 without having cursed energy, compare it to something like one piece where haki is vital for strength, and this man has zero and is at that level Gojo literally is the strongest Character of his time in jjk, don’t have to say anything else Saitama can beat anyone and everyone cause that’s literally how he was designed, by removing his limitor or whatever it’s called he became infinitely powerful and last time I checked there is no greater real number than infinity. idk bro sanji and zoro used to be relative till wano but zoro got two major powerups in the form of enma and conquerer's haki and the whole luffy vs kaido fight essentially told us how important conquerer's haki is to become the strongest anything and in terms of gap currently zoro beats sanji with mid difficulty and luffy beats zoro with mid difficulty and if we are talking admirals yeah zoro beats some but not all some being kizaru, greenbull and fujitora definetly not aokiji or akainu and its litreally beacuse there is that much of a disparity between non conquerer haki users and conquerer haki user as evident with luffy in g4 went from getting one shotted by kaido in his hybrid form to fighting him in his hybrid form with base and even hurting him
Zoro and Sanji are more relative than Zoro and Luffy. Sanji has received upgrades in Wano too, not the extent of Zoro, but now Sanji's durability and speed are upgraded

as a Zoro fan i don't see him as the strongest and i know he loses to luffy but that doesn't mean the man isn't an absolute unit and isn't loyal. I'm willing to bet Act 4 could beat WOU, which does kind of contradict what happened in the flashback, but there is still an argument to be made. The damage from calamity is based on the object used. WOU hasn't been show to be able to immediately cause Illness, the most if can make you do it cut yourself with a knife, rather than directly attack your body with an illness.
TL:DR - The scaling for WOU is taken out of context, and because of a statement that never had logic applied to it, people use it as a win condition, even though there are ways to kill, and destroy said calamity. WOU does not guarantee a kill regardless of the situation

IMO: Mihawk is stronger than Shanks, but Shanks has more power, like political power, and is thus a bigger threat. Also he's scarier to fight. Mihawk would solo you, but if Shanks starts losing, he has a bunch of other high tier haki men ready to jump you. I think that makes sense narratively.
Nah tbh. I think when Oda mentioned that he's the world's best swordsmen, he meant it. When we're comparing sword skills, Mihawk does beat Shanks, but if we look at the overall power of the character, like Haki and stuff, Shanks tops it by a bit.

IMO it’s been laid out pretty clear so far that overall Shanks is stronger. But Mihawk can’t be matched when it comes to swordsmanship. And while I’m sure Mihawk has some top tier haki. Shanks has currently shown us the best haki feats in the verse. So while Mihawk is still a yonko level fighter I don’t have him beating the top yonko like Shanks and Kaido in a 1v1.

A far better example would be the fact that the author had to make Domain Expansions have guaranteed hit passives, objects that can nullify CE, inability to use your abilities to their fullest after DE and so on. This makes very little sense, especially for Cursed Technics that already have a sure hit effect such as Nobara or Todo.

Everyone who talks about infinity and how Gojo is the strongest character ever just for some reason skipped all the chapters explaining all the weaknesses. For example Gojo has to train infinity to stop certain things, so if he gets attacked with a power he doesn’t know he cannot block it.

Zoro deserves his glaze bc he has kept his word of not loosing to anyone after mihawk. I don’t understand why people say he is on par as luffy since luffy not only is his leader but is also a literal god, nor do I understand why he would beat kaido since kaido is the main antagonist. I’d say he’s right in between luffy and sanji, and sanji isn’t really zoro’s level, he hasn’t gotten any good fights other than queen, and sanji was not only pissed off, but he had a literal super suit. The thing about zoro is zoro is fully human, no df, no bs, just a normal guy who trains hard, sanji is a full on robot kid. Sanji hasn’t demonstrated anything to prove he could stand a chance against the king of hell himself other than when they start fighting, but they don’t really take that seriously
Toji is a man with zero cursed energy who was able to go on par with the strongest sorcerer on the time (doesn’t matter he is a teen he is still the strongest), and he did kill gojo, but he didn’t make sure he couldn’t revive himself. Just because he is a deadbeat doesn’t mean he’s weaker or anything, and of course maki has to carry his power level since the guy is gone, but in a world where cursed energy is a must, he’s top 8 without having cursed energy, compare it to something like one piece where haki is vital for strength, and this man has zero and is at that level

idk bro sanji and zoro used to be relative till wano but zoro got two major powerups in the form of enma and conquerer's haki and the whole luffy vs kaido fight essentially told us how important conquerer's haki is to become the strongest anything and in terms of gap currently zoro beats sanji with mid difficulty and luffy beats zoro with mid difficulty and if we are talking admirals yeah zoro beats some but not all some being kizaru, greenbull and fujitora definetly not aokiji or akainu and its litreally beacuse there is that much of a disparity between non conquerer haki users and conquerer haki user as evident with luffy in g4 went from getting one shotted by kaido in his hybrid form to fighting him in his hybrid form with base and even hurting him
Zoro and Sanji are more relative than Zoro and Luffy. Sanji has received upgrades in Wano too, not the extent of Zoro, but now Sanji's durability and speed are upgraded
