I love that he's drinking a beer in the store! Fucking classic. I love this band and the guys are Fab. If you get a chance.......
Great band. Great shop.
I went to High School with Mario. He taped me a Blood Feast record he had when we went to RBV High School in Vista,CA. One of the nicest/coolest guys you'll meet. Oh, I also remember going to one of his amateur half pipe tournaments at McGill's old ramp off the I-5 on the Leucadia exit back in 88' when he was on Alva. I was loving it cause he skated to that Blood Feast tape(I had it with me). Good memories! I'm happy for him and those guys! Plus he bought a Discharge record!
Open containers in a record store......YES .
I'm really happy to find a band like Off! or Cerebral Ballzy in 2011.
ship analogy and delivery of said analogy was f'n tight! so good.
PS: Mario was one of my favorite skaters as a kid. ridiculous street ripper.
PSS: Keith Morris voice is so distinctive. this is great.
i love how there all so chill but when they play.....
I....LOVE......THAT......PLACE i visit almost everyday
I like it
Discharge; good stuff.
I was there! I'm so proud of me...
1:35 🤣🤣😂 that was random
Fuckin' hell whats so damn funny xD these guys rule and keith morris is a legend
That was one of my spots for hardcore and punk, then mp3's came along
(I'm not trying to single you out Brooklyn...you didn't say ANYthing about "stealing music", etc...You just said mp3's...but I had to vent apparently...)
"...then MP3's came along" - diluting the music pool's quality by literally adding 5 billion mediocre/shitty songs to it! But, no worries - you can DOWNLOAD this garbage for free off the intertheft - fast! It'll sound like crap and will ultimately undo the artist & the way music is seen in the world - but hey - Whaddya Want for Nothing, Right???
We ALL wanted the "industry" to get punched in the mouth for robbing us blind for years...BUT, the richest of the rich in the music biz just moved their money elsewhere...the lower level goons all lost their jobs...bands can no longer make ANY decent money from album sales so they have to tour - non-stop. NOW, the record company wants more of the ROAD money too...And all of this is only possible if you are on a BIG label these days. Otherwise, your "record" will be just one of the other 50,000 bands that "dropped" their new cd this week..."Go and download it now!" Hell, listen to it on Spotify...then - if 499 OTHER people listen to it, you earn a shiny new nickel! Hittin' the BIG time now! And we can all thank the MP3 and shit like NAPSTER.
Imagine if you could download someone else's livelihood...F'd up pipes and plugged up toilet? Download an app or file to fix it - FREE. Screw plumbers. Car won't start? Download "myfuckingcarwontstart.mp3" and bingo - no more mechanics. We've digitized an art form...someone's talent...the soundtrack to our lives in many cases...and we repay them by stealing their work. Hell, just by digitizing the music we are robbing the creator and the listener of TRUE sound.
Anyway, I could write 8-10 pages on the shit...and THAT plus $5 will get you a cup of coffee...(in other words, I just wasted a lot of time. :^) ...Late-o.
Yea Im pretty sure
I was there. High as fuck!!!
For real xD awesome
