I purchased my first brand new car, and it was a 2014 Mustang. Love it to death, and it fits me perfectly. Been a mustang enthusiast all my life, and I am glad my first new car was a mustang. Kinda upset I didn't get the 5.0, but it would have cost me an extra 10k since I got a killer deal on the v6 model.
You know the nice thing is you can now buy a used, mint condition fully loaded 2013 Mustang GT Premium with under 25,000 miles for under $25k these days depending on where you buy it from. I've even seen a few of them in the low $20's with average mileage on them still looking brand new. Pretty good deal for a 420 HP 12.7 second 1/4 mile car if you ask me.
If your FORD MUSTANG is always in the shop....it's because you don't take care of it. In other words you don't need a fuckin car at all. I have a 08 GT and a 14 5.0 my shit has never been fucked up to the point where I had to put it in the shop.
I had a 1998 Mustang GT with a vortech supercharger and wanted something else also. Came down to an 03-04 cobra or 13-14 5.0. Long story short I got a 2014 5.0 and love it. Didn't want to pay the same price for a 13 year old car that is boosted just to make what the 5.0 does.Good luck!
The live axle is why is why I purchased my 2014 GT cause I didnt want the IRS new body style I want that loose rear end feel that is just me I want to drive the car not the car drive me. That would just be boring but just call me out dated old school.

The first time it happened to me when I drove a mustang, I thought something was wrong with the car. Combined with the old school hard plastic interior, this car certainly wont age well. But I suppose a used example for 1/2 the cost of new is not a bad buy. When you are tasked to review a product you should always compare against the industry, not just the Camaro.
my 2003 harley f150 eats up those hemi cars and trucks and craps em out! the hemi is a joke and has major mechanical issues i doubt your charger can beat a 5.0 unless its a srt8 in which case try the 500 or supersnake. thers a reason why stangs have been around since 1964 1/2 and the mustang name plate has never gone away or had missing model years since then its simple, its better and you get alot more bang with a stang for the buck.
My 5.0 will blow away any late model GTO anywhere, anytime. You sure the guy in the 5.0 knew you were wanting to race, I highly doubt it. Try again dude.
I got new 2014 GT Premium about month ago for $32,500. I love the car and I'm getting 21mpg. However unless your racing the Track Pack is not worth it at all. I use mine as a daily driver and little red light racing.

Good review....from someone that seem's to be a Mustang enthusiast. I like the way this model looks overall, except the back end was nicer on the prior edition. That said, i don't think the 2015 looks nearly as nice. Maybe it's a better car, but it looks like a hot mess, basically taking the 90's Mustang and reworking it with some 60's cues. It doesn't work, at least not in the pictures and videos i've seen. Perhaps there's hope it's nicer in person. For now, i'll just wish i had this model in my garage.
This is the Mustang GT. The Camaro SS 1LE comes it at around $40K, about the same price as the Mustang Boss 302. Unless you would like to say that the Camaro SS 1LE is superior to the Mustang Boss 302, maybe you should not say anything at all...
I think Cameros are a little overrated. The was once a time when seeing one was rare and it looked awesome, but now there is practically one on every block. I've been a Mustang fan for a long time. Hope to have one of my own someday.

The track pack option is a great option available from 2011 too 2014 you get 373 rear gears external oil cooler with mandatory 0w20 engine oil and different pcm programming.👍
The camaro 1le DESTROYED the mustang GT track pack at laguna seca. It was a full 3 seconds faster. None of you can argue with facts. The camaro Zl1 was also faster than the GT500 by half a second.
It doesn't compete with the 1LE. Just because it says Track Pak doesn't mean it competes with that car. The 1LE has ZL1 suspension no shit it wins. The 302 competes with the 1LE. And the ZL1 is a track monster and the GT500 is the drag strip king. Everyone knows that so the comparison between those two cars is irrelevant.
You're not gonna be racing this things you're a normal guys just driving. Lets be honest you're not gonna go over 80. So why not pony up and get that amazing engine in there and have some fun?

I think this was a useful review. Lets face it, most of us buy cars and never take it to the track. We like things like looks, sound and power. That's exactly what he focused on. Great review man
2015 for sure. The design is much sleeker and looks more high end. The sequential lights , being narrow yet aggressive, looks a lot different than earlier models' but the ghost of the original is still there and will still let everyone know that that is a mustang. I like the retro feel of the interior, the toggle switches and dials. The only thing I can't really stand is the location of the reverse light, at the bottom. It feels like they just forgot about it last minute and hen slapped it on. But as far as convenience and safety goes, that reverse light illuminates the rear quite nicely. Really handy when it gets dark.
