Still, that doctor shouldn't have written off your husband that way and instead should have advised him to see a psychologist. It's why years ago my family doctor, after a check up, told me to see a psychologist and go get a full personality test when she noticed I wasn't my usual self. As a result, I found out (at age 22) I have ASD. Later found out my parents already knew I had ASD since I was a toddler but never told me or anyone (family, friends and teachers) because they were afraid of what people thought. I was never giving proper attention, proper talks or anything to help my growth. Only until my 20s did I ever get any proper help. The experience both your husband and I had are very common unfortunately. But luckily he has you and I have others who understand and support. Unfortunately the same cannot be said in Japan. Awareness of such things is at an all time low in that country due to the socioculture over there. Not much can be done except spread awareness. But of course things are changing in Japan, though slowly. As for the west, while awareness is spreading, those with mental issues are still looked down upon and made worse when entertainment becomes the source of education of such topics. (broken wall is easier to tear apart than you can imagine and very different to wall with no damages ) there is also a case where a child got a habit of eating cement from part of broken wall. it will be probably fail because people don't know how to do it and broke the knife to fast. just don't ask me where all this stuff coming from. you got another weird knowledge from internet.

Even if the setting can be cliché or generic, Uri's games always manage to create this comfy, cozy setting that makes you want to snuggle up in a blanket and watch the gameplay under Manly's commentary voice, with rain pouring outside and a nice cup of hot chocolate... Hmhm~
Totally, uri’s games are like a comfort movie to me. I rewatch them all every now and then when im sad or stressed, and I always watch manly’s playtroughs. Too bad he doesnt have one of the crooked man, i end up watching one from another youtuber but its not the same
These characters may be dumb as all hell but to be honest I really love their group dynamic, it feels really comfy and goofy but well-structured. I’ve gotta say Yuuki and Kenta are probably my favourites, but I’ve got a soft spot for idiot bad-boys like Ryouji too 😁

I don't know what to think here. I can't say I disliked the game, but it was on the weak side compared to other Uri games, though I guess it makes sense since it's only a remake of an older one. Too many logic lapses here. As many people commented before, I'm sure they could have somehow extracted the crowbar from that number pad - I mean, sure, you can be electrocuted, but considering the place was a lab, I'm pretty sure they'd find some kind of rubber gloves or whatever. Then they could have used the crowbar to force the elevator doors or one of the secret entrances. Now, of course, you can also justify the way the story turned out by the panic factor. They tried to pry the doors open and they didn't manage. They searched for any clue, they didn't find any. They looked for food, none. At this point, the panic must have settled in badly. And sure, they could have thought about the crowbar and stuff after some time, but at that point they may have been too weak to do any door forcing. I'm not that surprised they weren't found - at least not in time - though. People didn't necessarily hear they were planning on going to that house, at school. And since the group knew they were trespassing, they probably took extra care not to get spotted when entering. Now, in the first Bad End Manly got, I think the "Hurry over here..." Keisuke have attributed to the dead in his delirious state MIGHT have actually been echoes of the police above, finding one of the secret entrances after having reached the conclusion they had to search that home. Though if that's right, it's even more sad in a way, since at this point he's probably the only one alive, and possibly beyond saving anyway.

Oh come on. They just had to force that elevator open. Yuuki is quite strong, with the help of 1 more person he could surely get that door opened. With the elevator opened, they could just climb to the surface using the elevator's steel wire rope. Maybe not all of them, but Yuuki on the very least could climb it (since it's just 1 floor), get out, call the cops and they would rescue the others.

Tbh, I'm surprised they didn't go the cannibalism route. I was fully expecting it with the set up in a horror game of "trapped with no food and growing desperate" for one to turn on the others.
I mean ... they could always try forcing the elevator doors open, maybe the elevator car has an escape hatch and they can try climbing out (assuming that the car is already at the doors and not above them, of course). Or use the crowbar to try and force the door in the fireplace open? I feel like there are several other ways they could try to escape _without_ the doctor's cooperation.
Just gotta say,that you're one of my favorite UA-camrs. You do so many horror games,and I very deeply enjoy the horror genre,especially the story driven ones with the deeply unsettling atmosphere. Well after seeing the endings and just how frail Murai was the only thing that bothered me in the end is that Keisuke didn't have anyone watch over the old man while they went to rescue Ryouji. It's a damn miracle the old man didn't immediately kill himself the moment he came to.

In the bad ending where they are trapped in the basement, why did they not take shifts typing in codes on the elevator. Like, 1111111, 1111112, 1111113... And then note down where you stopped when you stop.
Because that would take ages. Like their fingers would probably go bloody before they find the combination. According to Google there would be about 9 million number sequences to punch in. They’d probably dehydrate before they got to it.
Interesting how it's not Kyouko, who must have resembled the dead daughter, that convinces Murai to turn himself in but Yuuki, who is a living testament to some of the good he did before tragedy made him lose himself. There's more endings to be seen but those bad endings while tragic do leave the plot hole Manly brought up about how surely someone else in school knew where they were going; of course, it's not really worth getting hung up on. Also, Manly leading the Conga line to play Snake really needs to be drawn.
I really like how they set that up with Yuuki and Mr. Murai. I really did wish there was at least some kind of clue or slight secretive mention that said something about their connection before they all went there together, since that would kind of make sense because Yuuki would've trusted his friends enough to talk about his family.
Unless the keypad would lock up after a certain number of tries I call bullshit on the group not being smart enough to figure out the passcode without the killer through process of elemination. And if all else failed they could have brute foced the doors open with a crowbar.
While I agree with using crowbar, I think elemination process on this one would be really really hard. Brute force elemination would take a lot of time. It's 10-digit password. the combination posibility is too overwhelming for them. And I don't think there is clues on this one too, aside from elimating one by one. There is even a hint that said only insanity can open the last door. It's probably independent password.

Keisuke, Kenta and Ryouji are part of the Going Home Club. Same though. Also, in Japan (I think it's also in South Korea too, but I could be wrong), whenever someone doesn't have any club or extra-curricular activity to go to after school, if they go straight home afterwards, they often call themselves part of the Going Home/Go Home Club. It's silly, but makes you feel accepted for some reason with a club that is but also isn't a club. Making technically every student a participant of a club in a weird way.
_At least they grabbed the knife for a change_ No one usually ever does grab the weapon - too bad they didn't also find the box cutter. The father became consumed with grief over losing his daughter to an accident & stayed in the basement doing research. He drove himself crazier trying to come up with a "potion" but it's hard to grasp why he'd kill the others, especially his beloved wife. But I guess he really _believed_ in his ability to revive them based on his animal experiments, which we didn't see at all. Maybe in the upcoming endings...

This is ridiculous. He didnt have to murder those people. He wanted more research subjects. They had families and lives too. Just because he was nice to them until he killed them does not make him a good person. Just because he loved his daughter does not make him a good person. 30:02 the average person can only go 3 days without water before they die of thirst. So unless the police found them within 3 days then yes your right, but if 3 days went by before they found them then no they would already be dead from thirst.
You know what, these guys are way better than the guys from Ao Oni. They care for each other and help each other out while the guys in Ao Oni don’t give a damn about anyone. Not to mention that some of them make pretty smart decisions (well beside the splitting up one) especially Kenta.
Okay at first I felt the Good End 1 was oddly optimistic, but then he dies anyway. THAT'S the Uri-style bittersweet ending I know! Though I hope the next good end (if there is one? It was called good end ONE afterall) isn't something as simple as "oh hey the insane scientist lives to atone for his sins!"

I got up to the part where the girl had to run from him underground, but because of the way my story went, I locked it up. There was nowhere to run at all. When I went North to the prison, she breaks down crying as he comes up behind and stabs her. There was no-one in the lockers either as I had them get out earlier in the game. Those were the two choices to escape being chased and I had taken bad paths for both of them. I hate it when you get near the end of a game and because of your choices the game messes up and is unable to continue in an endless loop.
Bad and two hit me with whiplash from the tone shift this game has been kind of corny but to get really deep with the psychological effects of being trapped down there please being a jealous of those who escaped by dying I don't know it's just hit me with an unsuspected chill compared to the sort of slightly goofy kind of darkness of everything else that felt a bit more real
One of the things that I dont like that much about Japanesse games, manga, animes, etc. Is the fact that they love to take the higher moral ground a lot, no matter the context and situation.

Yeah, you would think someone would come looking for the kids, but so many of these Japanese stories rely heavily on the "Adults are Useless" trope. So, unfortunately, the kids fell victim to in-world incompetence.
So I'm guessing this is one of the creator's earlier works? Don't get me wrong, it's a fun one time game but the quality is wayyy below Uri's other stuff (Crooked Man, Mermaid Swamp, Sandman, etc..). The whole plot sounds like something my 15 year old self would throw together tbh

Well after seeing the endings and just how frail Murai was the only thing that bothered me in the end is that Keisuke didn't have anyone watch over the old man while they went to rescue Ryouji. It's a damn miracle the old man didn't immediately kill himself the moment he came to.

In the bad ending where they are trapped in the basement, why did they not take shifts typing in codes on the elevator. Like, 1111111, 1111112, 1111113...
And then note down where you stopped when you stop.
Because that would take ages. Like their fingers would probably go bloody before they find the combination. According to Google there would be about 9 million number sequences to punch in. They’d probably dehydrate before they got to it.

Interesting how it's not Kyouko, who must have resembled the dead daughter, that convinces Murai to turn himself in but Yuuki, who is a living testament to some of the good he did before tragedy made him lose himself. There's more endings to be seen but those bad endings while tragic do leave the plot hole Manly brought up about how surely someone else in school knew where they were going; of course, it's not really worth getting hung up on. Also, Manly leading the Conga line to play Snake really needs to be drawn.
I really like how they set that up with Yuuki and Mr. Murai. I really did wish there was at least some kind of clue or slight secretive mention that said something about their connection before they all went there together, since that would kind of make sense because Yuuki would've trusted his friends enough to talk about his family.
And as for the 'Manly leading the Conga line really needs to be drawn', I might be able to do something about that, heh.
Unless the keypad would lock up after a certain number of tries I call bullshit on the group not being smart enough to figure out the passcode without the killer through process of elemination. And if all else failed they could have brute foced the doors open with a crowbar.
While I agree with using crowbar, I think elemination process on this one would be really really hard.
Brute force elemination would take a lot of time. It's 10-digit password. the combination posibility is too overwhelming for them.
And I don't think there is clues on this one too, aside from elimating one by one. There is even a hint that said only insanity can open the last door.
It's probably independent password.

Keisuke, Kenta and Ryouji are part of the Going Home Club. Same though. Also, in Japan (I think it's also in South Korea too, but I could be wrong), whenever someone doesn't have any club or extra-curricular activity to go to after school, if they go straight home afterwards, they often call themselves part of the Going Home/Go Home Club. It's silly, but makes you feel accepted for some reason with a club that is but also isn't a club. Making technically every student a participant of a club in a weird way.

The father became consumed with grief over losing his daughter to an accident & stayed in the basement doing research. He drove himself crazier trying to come up with a "potion" but it's hard to grasp why he'd kill the others, especially his beloved wife. But I guess he really _believed_ in his ability to revive them based on his animal experiments, which we didn't see at all. Maybe in the upcoming endings...

30:02 the average person can only go 3 days without water before they die of thirst. So unless the police found them within 3 days then yes your right, but if 3 days went by before they found them then no they would already be dead from thirst.
If there isn't an ending where they use that crowbar to unblock that back door that seems to have been there for no reason, I'm gonna be mad.

You know what, these guys are way better than the guys from Ao Oni. They care for each other and help each other out while the guys in Ao Oni don’t give a damn about anyone. Not to mention that some of them make pretty smart decisions (well beside the splitting up one) especially Kenta.

Okay at first I felt the Good End 1 was oddly optimistic, but then he dies anyway. THAT'S the Uri-style bittersweet ending I know!
Though I hope the next good end (if there is one? It was called good end ONE afterall) isn't something as simple as "oh hey the insane scientist lives to atone for his sins!"
What made Bad End 2 (the second ending Manly shows)? What did he do that was different from Good End 1 (Manly's first ending)?

I got up to the part where the girl had to run from him underground, but because of the way my story went, I locked it up. There was nowhere to run at all. When I went North to the prison, she breaks down crying as he comes up behind and stabs her. There was no-one in the lockers either as I had them get out earlier in the game.
Those were the two choices to escape being chased and I had taken bad paths for both of them.
I hate it when you get near the end of a game and because of your choices the game messes up and is unable to continue in an endless loop.

Bad and two hit me with whiplash from the tone shift this game has been kind of corny but to get really deep with the psychological effects of being trapped down there please being a jealous of those who escaped by dying I don't know it's just hit me with an unsuspected chill compared to the sort of slightly goofy kind of darkness of everything else that felt a bit more real
