- The Oak Mountain High School "Spirit of Cahaba" Marching Band's 2023 Halftime Show "Treasured - Songs of Fortune and Glory" took you on a journey of expedition and wonder and featured selections from the "Theme from Indiana Jones", "National Treasure", "The Mandalorian", and the video game "Uncharted"!
The Band earned All Superiors in All Captions at its three marching competitions this season including the North Alabama Marching Invitational on September 30, 2023 (Best In Class Majorettes and Percussion - 2nd Place Overall), the Trussville Marching Invitational on October 14, 2023 (Best in Class Majorettes and Percussion, Best in Class 4A Band and Large Division Grand Champion) and the Hoover Invitational Marching Festival on October 21, 2023 (Best in Class Drum Major, Dance Team and Majorettes - 2nd Place Overall).
This year is the 25th Anniversary of the Founding of the Oak Mountain High School Band and the Band continues in the Spirit of Excellence of all those band members in this past quarter of a century.
This video captures the performance at the Trussville Marching Invitational on October 14, 2023 and was chosen by the Directors to best showcase the band's performances this season.

So many memories🥰 I loved being in the Front Ensemble; it was a wonderful experience. Mr. Ownby, Dr. Bender, Mr. Terry, Mr. Troxler and Mr. Nelson will be in my memories forever, Especially My Section Leaders Bradly and Tyler and Field Captain the one and only Will! Can't wait for the 2023 GoPro show and 2024 halftime show next year!
