Sometimes I play this, close my eyes and just imagine being on that field on a Friday night, playing amongst my brothers. This gives me a vivid imagine as I close and reminisce about those golden days. 🏈
As a former hs football player who played in SF as a LB/RB I thank all you band players for making the crowd lively and entertaining my parents, cousins, uncles, ect. They always told me how they enjoyed hearing the band play and seeing me in the game. Yall awesome.
You could use more lower brass in most of this. There really isn’t any balance in between any of the instruments. They are lacking on equality which is great for when you’re marching. It’s what makes a good band become a great band. Little things like that help in so many ways. If the person next to you can’t play as loud, find a middle point in between your two sound ranges and fix up a sound spot in there everyone can work with. It’ll help bring you a long way.

Boring lol 1. You need to have more fun in the stands (like motions) 2. You need to have more energy and actually make the music loud(this might be the cameras fault or it’s because it’s like midnight and my volume is on half) 3 Add some flair to the songs like 8va and ornaments
Our marching band has this rollor coaster thing we do, we lift our instrument up and lower them down at the same time as if it were a real roller coaster and the DM controls us and everyone kinda rocks in the stands from side to side😂

JM Tate High School Aggies marching band, is called "The Showband of The South". I think that were involved in Donald Trump's inauguration celebration in 2016. Here still seem similar, same upbeat lively fighting type of spirit, but seeing recent ones, it's nothing like it used to be in choreography or anything else. Gone drab. .

I'm in middle school and this is a little bigger than my band. I'm in beginning band so it's mainly 7th graders and symphonic band is 8th grade
As of Tates 2019-2020 season they marched 214 players
carlie davis ikr!!!! They stretch 10 yard line to 10 yard line sometimes. I am in an east Texas band and we are nothing compared to that.
I still remember 2015 being a freshmen trumpet player at TATE. Such fond memories in this band. Miss every second of it.
