It is always exciting to see people who are so passionate about what they believe that they feel commissioned to convince the whole world. Elder Kohler is a force of nature. Among many good insights, I took note of the catching phrase that he’s using as a vision for the church: “A church that can be distinct, but not distant.” May God bless you all!
Indeed, @maurothiagobarbosa, Elder Kohler's vision for the church is powerful and resonates with the call to be a distinctive and welcoming community. May God's blessings continue to guide and inspire the church to fulfill its mission with love and inclusivity.

That would be great for SDA Hope BC Canada Campmeeting and Summer Camp Councillors too! I can't understand why the Summer Camp Councillors have to pay to work there. This makes no sense to me only wealthy families can afford to send their teens and then they pay to get work experience taking care of younger campers. I think they should have a paid internship, not Parents have to pay for the training and mentorship experience for their teens. There is no work ethic in that method.
Am my local church they offer grants and members do food drives to raise money to be sent. Maybe you can do that at your church?
