There really was a movement that occurred in 1844 in heaven as prophesied by Daniel the prophet. The prophetic periods were correct the 2300 years in Daniel 8:14. Daniel 7:13 “I was watching in the night visions, and behold, One like the Son of Man, coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him. 14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed. In 1844 (termination of the 2300 years) Jesus entered the most holy place and appears in the presence of God on our behalf (Hebrews 9:24) cleansing the heavenly sanctuary of sins, conducting judgment in the house of God (all who died believing in Christ ending with the righteous living). 1 Peter 4:17,18. 2 Corinthians 5:10, Daniel 7:9,10, Revelation 20:11,12. When He finishes His work as our Mediator, He will return again to reward His dear waiting saints. Revelation 22:12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.” He also says in regard to His ongoing work of judgment in the most holy place of the heavenly sanctuary; NKJV, Revelation 3:5 He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. Matthew 10:32 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. 33 But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.
The judgment of the wicked will occur at the later times. And the saints will be involved as they will be Heirs together with Christ. 1 Corinthians 6:2,3. Revelation 20:4,5
SDA's have more off shoots than any other denomination, and most of them are still mesmerized by EGW, thinking that they still qualify for "Sola Scriptura". I escaped this cult also, and have much to unlearn.
