Maverick looks like a very intelligent horse who loves to learn to do new things which at first are a little scary. He's always connected to Jim. His mouth and nose expressions sugges to me that he gets pleasure from achieving the learning goals Jim asks of him. At times he seems quite enthusiastic.
May I ask where Maverick came from, he looks like my deceased grandmother's horse who was also named Maverick, I never found out where they sent all the horses. Be cool if this is him
Your skill level look to be quite high. I think you would be able ride Maverick in a rope halter and lead line converted to reins with better feel than using a bit.
