For reference my son has a V3 granite 3S. 50mph on gps on pavement but hard to control at that speed due to tire ballooning. Only thing we’ve broken is one half shaft where it attaches to the diff (plastic snapped). Also body is starting to crack but that’s expected
Arrma has been slashing since 2015. Traxxas and redcat had them beat entirely. Now though, think they’re finally releasing respectable offerings now. I did break a K4 arm, but it’s also used so I’m not sure if that was my fault or the previous owners
In my opinion they should have stayed away from the two in one systems,😊 or they should have at least made the ESC 100 amp instead of 80 I'm not a big fan of 2 and 1 systems the original came with a 100 amp
The 2-in-1 completely kills it for me. I'm used to having to replace receivers in RTRs to run my DSMR radio, but there's no reason to have to replace the ESC too just to run one of their better radios.
I’ve raced my Typhon 3S with kit builds on an 1/8th scale tracks and 3S is plenty on this thing. It’s super lightweight with the plastic chassis and it rips. If I’ve beaten $2000 kit builds on it, and I’ve only raced 1/8th scale a few times, it doesn’t need more power haha
@GeddyRC good point, I guess I never factored in the plastic build spec, I mean it kind of a departure from what 8th buggies usually are. Would make sense that 3s is ample for it lightweight. Guess it might compete on a club level.
@@K2H117 hey brother just to add to that I have a 3S and I took it to the track. I have the V3 model. I will tell you brother that thing is very very impressive for it being what it is I think this one with the center diff will make it even better. I do feel like if I had the center diff I would’ve had faster lap times but just to let you know I have tried it and it was very fun and I was very pleased with it
Yessss, a shootout with the syncro4
2 2 3s looks awesome. Epic time to be in r/c.
i really like the changes they made.
Arrma really is a great company, The way they’re Rcs perform out of the box is always on point .
Love the body paint scheme. Solid for sure.
Love Arrma ,bought 3 of them last week this RC from the video was 1 of em. I have shorts up of em. Best bank for your buck in my opinion.
Drives and flies great
It does!
Great review just preordered Kraton v6
Great review as always. Would love to see a shootout👍
Great review!
I love the Typhon 3s platform. So light and jumps very well. I’m not sure how this 2 in 1 esc will work out long term, but only time will tell.

the Granite is a beast
I'm looking forward to the rest of the 6s line getting the v6 treatment. I really hope they keep the Fireteam and give it new colors.
Me too! Although I’m not sure yet about the non adjustable pillow balls. I like being able to set them so they are free but with no slack.
I got excited seen razor v4 blx , grabbed my glasses 👓 😮 are they not going come out with v5 typhon not that I have any more room
Yea I didn’t think that I usually use kraton hubs
When will Arrma release the Granite 223s v4?
Wondering the same thing myself, man.
I don't know, but I would guess early next year. 🤷♂️
Nice buggy.

Will a 3s spectrum 5000 mah 100c fit in that battery box?
I have six of those batteries and if they fit I’ll order one😊
Thank you
Merry Christmas
I have The v1 it's on 4s 120blx AND 2400kvblx motor
20 t 23 , I started mounting 40 mm fans on chassis blowing over the whole Modual with their stuff nothing gets hot ,
The Old MOTORS WERE 3200KV
Yes. I said in the video "no change from the other V4's".

Cool entry level rig, but I can only imagine how uninspiring 2s in a 8th scale buggy would feel. Even 3s would leave you wanting more IMO.

@@K2H117 I will add as well. You have to turn the power down on it. I put mine to about 60% because if it was at 100% it jumps off the track lol
First 😁🤘🏻
