The View from the Caraballo mountain drive

What pain? When the reward is the refreshing view from the Caraballo Mountain drive - it's so worth biting the bullet!
Not only does the Pangasinan - Nueva Vizcaya Road cuts my sciatica laden travel time from Aritao to Metro Manila from SIX hours to FIVE, the road is a quick mountain drive through the three historical towns of :
Malico Sta. Fe, Sta. Cruz and the Gaddang's Indigenous land in Bagabag.
We were not able to go to the World War 2 sites but we really loved how Nature kept the pine trees healthy and how butterflies were abundant (sorry these beauties were too small to be captured in vid and there was no area to stop over where they were).
From Sta. Fe, Nueva Vizcaya to San Nicolas, Pangasinan ending at the
Urdaneta TPLEx Exit.
