- Batanes is one of the Philippine destinations that tops everyone's bucket-list. There is a good reason for that. Batanes is known for its unique rock formations, rolling hills, lighthouses, free-roaming horses and cattle and scenic seasides that offers a calming and peaceful escape from the city. Their unique culture of the islands' first settlers, the Ivatans certainly makes it more compelling to visit and explore the island. Batanes proves that all islands in the Philippines boasts of its unique charm and has its own set of natural wonders. Located in the northernmost part of Luzon, Batanes is even closer to Taiwan than the capital city of Manila. However, its culture, natural beauty, and local hospitality of Batanes people make it a truly Philippine tourist destination.
This is one place where you need too be there to truly appreciate its beauty.

Hello! Yes we did. It’s better to get a tour package so you get to see all the many attractions in Batanes (and there are a lot). In our case it was Batanes Travel and Tours. They’re on FB and IG. Thanks for watching!
