I've seen this house too, it's in Georgia, and I don't know where the brother's journal came from never heard of it. But the story goes, the sister is in a mental hospital cause of what she endured in that house, being molested by her father and brother, and not being protected by her mother. That's enough to drive anyone to do what she did. The parents moved off, and the father denied all allegations of abusing his daughter. No charges were ever brought against him. They had money, (gas/oil) So can you imagine finally being able to say what's happening to you out there, and nobody believes you? Bless her! I think she is in Florida and the parents went to Texas, not sure about that. Anyway, it's sad situation.

Just curious by "I've seen" do you mean you've actually been to the house or just talking about seeing the videos where a few other explorers had been there? I swear I'm starting to think one of the original explorers just made up a really good story to go along with the video to enhance the viewing experience. After all its just entertainment right? LoL I can't find a single bit of anything online about a case even similar from Georgia.

The house is late 18 hundreds. Lot's of built-ins. Decor from 70 and ,80's. Lot's of old furniture, would be beautiful. Sad it's just rotting.

It’s obviously an abandoned house. However, things looked added or “placed” for potentially scary effects. Surely, that hideous doll wasn’t just lying on the bed. And the 1950s newspaper wasn’t just sitting on the table, when there was a calendar from 1982 on the wall. Just a silly made up story to go with yet another abandoned house. Oh, and the upside down crosses that were on the wall? My speculation would be staged. He already has been through these places, whether to case them for valuables or just to stage props before the filming. No sense in hollering if anyone is there, when you kinda know no one is. 😉

During my past time as an urban explorer of my town, we saw a lot of the cliched satanist iconography. In the overwhelming majority of the cases, they're staged either by edgelords or pranksters wanting to give goosebumps to future visitors. Unless the house has a documented history as the headquarters of a cult, I take what I see with a pinch of salt.

Even if it's all staged, it's still a cute gimmick for a Halloween video, in all fairness. I can see the appeal of staging rooms for photographical purpose or entertainment. It is an art in itself to grab discarded items from the house and compose diorama of sort.
Though, I can understand OP's annoyance, if the uploader tries to pass it off as the real thing, just to generate high traffic.
I am fine either way, but we should have at least a right to know the truth... And if truth cannot be determined, at least, no wild jump to the conclusion of the type of "Omahgush, it's Charles Manson's spiritual successor's manshun!". Sensationalist shit is what drove me away from overrated channels like Dan Bell's.

@@RangerRickTV We investigated a woman’s house and she asked my sister if she would like a piano she had. My sister plays and said yes happily. Two days later my sis calls and says get over here now. The air in the house was terrible. The animals were all freaked out. Everyone was arguing just negative. Things started moving right in front of us. The piano starts plunking out notes. We called a psychic friend. She came we told her where it came from and all the weird stuff. She said the woman you got it from should have told you her husband loved that piano and died playing it. He was angry she got rid of it. We called her and she apologized. It's amazing to see how long this house has been abandonned for and yet the ceilings, nor the roof havn't collapsed yet. I mean there is litterally no water damage in between the floors and the beams are still holding on after all this time.
I would say that the house itself was probably built around 1910-20 and all the grown trees around have probably protected it from the vandals.
It seems kind of eerie to hear a dog barking in the background, across the street, when you're standing from the interior, eventhough the house is located inside a deep forest.
    Thank you!

It's well preserved because it's sealed & the wild animals have been kept out. One open window will destroy this in less than 5 years. I hope the urban exploration left it as it was found (sealed).
The enclosed space upstairs is what they called a sleeping porch. Used in the summers before air-conditioning was common.
Wall to wall carpeting was a real-estate selling feature, Kitchens & bathrooms were fully carpeted in the late 70's early 80's. Many of the antique furniture pieces collected in this house were fashionable around the same time. Interior Lighting was also rather dark & moody at the time. It's very age accurate.

Eerily, I find the interior décor actually beautiful being classic in design and clean, unnaturally clean considering the length of abandonment. The furniture clutter is what makes it somewhat odd. multiple bureaus indicating a fixation on something is disturbing.

  • @Tempe1962
    @Tempe1962 11 місяців тому +6

I remember those plastic figurines.(I grew up in the 60's and 70's) Lots of odd stuff in the house-by that I mean nothing really matches and theres odd pieces of furniture where you wouldnt expect there to be. Why did you call it satanic-because of the 2 decorations on the wall-what look like upside down crosses? Maybe they were once upright and fell down? Not an attractive decoration. It is frustrating that explorers do videos of abandoned places and so rarely take the trouble to find out the story behind it. Go to town hall first where they would have a record of who owned the house.Thenlook into obituaries. Ask neighbors. It seems explorers have the time and patience to go through abandoned properties but cant be bothered to dig deep into the history beyond what they might have heard.I want to know what happened to the people and why a town would let a house be abandoned for so long. I wonder if its haunted. The cutains blowing in the breeze is sad and a bit eerie.

Not to mention he said there was no address. When he was showing the wood intricacies of the front door, he panned over the top window and blurred out was the address. This whole story makes no sense to me.

Those "cast iron looking stuff" is porcelain covered cast iron. I have a kitchen sink, two bathroom sinks, and a claw foot tub all made of cast iron. My house was built in 1924.
