It is a "Warm Morning" stove. My Mom had a kitchen stove like that. I remember her putting kindling in it. She made some good biscuits on that stove. That stainless steel sink wasn't original nor are the cabinets. It would have been a white porcelain sink and a lot longer. Thanks for the video. Saw a lot of things my Mom had when I was much younger.
I'm sure it has been suggested, but how about just running a property tax search on the address? It's public information & can give you some clues on when it was abandoned or who is still paying the property taxes.
Wow! This was a good one! Would love to hear follow-ups on places like this if you find out anymore info on the families & if the buildings get demo’d or restored! Thanks so much for making these videos & braving the bees and all the things so we can go on these adventures with you!
We had a heater like that one except ours was twice as big & ours was a gas heater. I never has trusted gas, but that winter storm we had back in 93/94, that gas heater came in handy when the power went out. We stayed warm & still were able to cook food & boil water on it. Thank God for that. ❤❤❤
I believe this was the grandparents house too. Saw catholic images of Jesus and the clock. (My in-laws had one too) the hanging on the wall was rug latch hook. Very popular in the 60’s and 70’s. I guess the grandparents passed and the family only took what they wanted. The perfume cologne was from Avon again same time period. The Knick knacks and glassware was also about the same. It really is very sad when a family member passes and things are left behind. I have gone through this in my lifetime too many times, but always stayed to the end to make sure things were packed up. Delivered to family members, friends, neighbors or donated to charity. Their life mattered, and their belongings did too in some sense. It really was heartbreaking for me to go through it, but it honored their life, memories, and saying goodbye. 😞
You should be able to find out who the actual owner is. It is public info through deed recordings and such. If they left in a hurry why was the fridge all emptied out? If it was the grandparents house and they passed why would they have theft the change in the bank? Why would you not sell the property instead of just leave it sit there. I would search for wills also. Please go back and see what is behind those doors.
I think one of the hardest things to do is when you’re facing the end of your own life, trying to figure out what to do with belongings that might not be of any meaning to anyone except you. I have distributed as much as I can. I think the rest is going to go to charity. It’s hard trying to make sure that those you leave behind are not going to get stuck with taking care of relationships, things, and legal matters.
Thats awesome that your a gemini too! In one of your past videos I heard that you were an 1982 baby as well. It awesome to see another 1982 gemini out there. You have some amazing content and I hope to see more abandoned from you in the future.
Here a observation maybe the the family are in that room where the door has that piece of wood blocking it because I think it strange great video rick.
Why do these houses always look so big on the outside but so small on the inside? It makes me so sad to see pictures and letters just abandoned like that (and ashes??). And who makes their bed before they decide to disappear? Wish me knew what happened to them.
This place is a treasure trove of antiques and collectibles. The cat under the dome is covered in fake velvet and has a small vial of cologne in front of it.Originally there was a fluffy maribou feather behind the cat to make it look like it's wearing a feather boa. I think the brand is Coty. Super X drugstore carried these back in the 1970s. I had one that was turquoise blue. The eyes were little rhinestones. Skinny Dip was a popular cologne. I don't see how anyone could live in a place that junked up but you'd be surprised. I hope that you can find out more about what happened to the family. Thanks for the video.
Wow. A total time capsule. Its all vintage. Reminds me of my childhood in the 70s and 80s. Yea thats linoleum. And that RCA TV with the turn style knobs brings back memories along with that old 70s radio with the turn style knobs. Yes please go back. That chair blocking the door and it being all boarded up got me curious. Also that cord going down to the bottom under the floor. Lots of beautiful vintage furniture and stuff. ❤
Where Jeep Ducking Started The practice of Jeep Ducking originated in a small town in Canada in 2020. A woman named Allision Parliament, from Ontario, randomly bought a bunch of rubber ducks from a convenience store and gave one to another Jeep owner with a note that said, “Have a Great Day.” The intent was to bring a smile to the individual and spread a little cheer that we all needed during the pandemic. The small interaction turned out much better than expected. The Jeep owner walked out of the store and at first, was confused when he saw a rubber duck being placed on his Jeep. However, after reading the note that was left behind, left a huge smile on his face. That night, #DuckDuckJeep was born after being posted on Instagram and the rest is history. Sorry, please forgive me. I like to read and do research just like you.
Hi Rick!❤ yes my GMA had a heater like that, so it is a heater. That carpet 😂 hanging on the wall was a latch hook hanging I use to do latch hooks, they actually still make them. I was gonna say that’s an organ 😂 I’m not sure why they would pack up and leave overnight. Have a great day!
It is a Warm Morning stove and apparently, they burned both wood and coal it theirs. The electric cord was to supply power to the fan to circulate the heat.
These are my favorite type of video's. The ones where a bunch of stuff gets left behind. The items always have a story to tell. It's more than just a decayed and vandalised Building.
That's a Warm Morning heater. They were made to burn wood, coal or coke, and were manufactured by the Locke Stove company, in the 1940s. The kitchen stove replaced the fireplace, probably, before electricity arrived, around the early 50s.. I saw a wringer washer, out on the porch. Pretty cool. That's not a baby booster. It's a kitchen chair/ladder/step stool, for women to reach high shelves, and to sit at, if she is at the counter. That's a home made Teddy bear, with button eyes. I know when people married, the husband would make a home to bring his wife to, and it might have a kitchen, a parlour, 2 bedrooms, and as children were born, more rooms would be added. Farms went through a really hard time, in the 30s, which would account for the vinyl flooring. It was there to keep in the warmth. When the grandparents died, the kids were grown, and the family would have gone through, gotten what they wanted, and left, always meaning to go back "one day", but no one did, and left it to decay. Maybe they'll see the property, maybe they think parents did, but it's possible that the grandparents are now great great grandparents. Considering that I remember lots of the things you showed, from my own childhood, and I am a great grandma.
This is James Barrow it's a beautiful house and it can be saved and fixed up and needs painting and repair and needs new flooring and remodeling and New Walls and needs new doors and windows and a new ceiling and needs a new porch and needs new metal roof
Glad you don't tell people where these places are.. I don't like how they want to take things away from the place which doesn't belong to them. What if ghost of the people live in there and some want to steal their things. It would be different if they bought the place and salvaged that way. Awesome old farm house hopefully one day relative's will come back to take care of these things.
Grandma and Grandpa's house. They died. First one, then the other was moved to a nursing home or moved in with one of the kids. The house is still in the family, but has been abandoned because the maintenance and repair and updating is too much work and money. Just my guesses based upon experience and observation. I'm curious as to what was behind those doors, but not enough to destroy property. That stove in the kitchen is an old wood burning one. You picked up one of the burner plates where you'd put a pot or pan or kettle. My guess is they were Catholic due to all the religious iconography on the walls, like that clock that fascinated you.
The plug in is for the fan. This stove can burn both wood and coal. Coal for night because it burns longer. The fan helps distribute heat. The rug on the wall is called hook and rug. I use to do them from a kit. You get a plastic backing and long pieces of yarn and with a hook, a long round metal or plastic needle with a hook at the bottom. You get different color yarns. You hook the yarn through the holes in the plastic backing and pull it through. Ranger Rick I love how detailed you are. Those ceramic dolls with the home made clothe is what my Mom use to do. You can buy the dolls or you can make the ceramic heads, arms, and legs and paint them. That is how my Mom did them. She made ceramic doll pieces, animals, or just about anything. My Mom could make large ceramic dolls. I have a lot of them. Some are dolls and some are animals. Like a bunny rabbit wearing a dress she made for it. 😁❤
The farmhouse is old so in the kitchen they used the the fireplace to cook then they upgraded by closing the fireplace and added the wood burning stove (in front of fireplace) then upgraded again by the more modern stove. I know this cause my great grandparents did this in their home. I remember when the modern stove was delivered my great grandmother was so excited, she continued to use the wood burning stove in the winter to help keep the drafty old house warm
Somebody struggled with mobility towards then end; hence the bells. Also, I don't think there is a "secret" passage behind the fire place; it's just the firebox. The reason you can see light is the chimney is probably decaying and letting in the light. People covered fireplaces when they were no longer used for heat, because it was like having an open window in the house. The thing you thought was a dream catcher in the window is just a hanging plant pot. Most likely; the older couple died and for whatever reason; the kids or grandkids did not want the stuff, lived too far away to clean it out; or kept thinking "someday" we'll clean out mom and dad's house. The moth balls are for keeping rodents away, which you could see were everywhere. The house did not have central heat, as it had the coal stove in the living room and the wood burning oven in the kitchen. It probably was too expensive to fix the house up and the house was probably too remote for a family member to move into. Very sad. I am actually cleaning out my parent's house, which is far from where I live. My dad is still alive, but I am hoping to avoid what you videoed.
People in the 70s 80s bought these hook & rug crafts with patterns and made these rug and they hung them up like paintings. The thing hanging in the window is to hang a plant
Hi look at the detail on the wood of that electric organ, and I saw the old school vinyl tiles, enjoyed the content, nice look over to the water in the backyard would of been nice, there thanks for the video ,etc😀🏡
That Men's Cologne figurine in the kitchen is from Avon, Avon was very popular in the 1970's and the 1980's, my Late Dad had severa different Avon Men's cologne vehicles in the 1980's.
That chair isn’t a “baby booster chair” it is a chair used in the kitchen probably bought with redeemed stamps collected, my grandmother had one. She collected quality green stamps in a book then got things with them. You need to read up on history before you start making videos to familiar yourself about old homes
AHH you're torturing me by not showing all of the medicines you find in the attic! If you go back, I'd absolutely love to see them. They are old timey pharmacy items, I caught boric acid and nux vomica. I am dying to see the rest of these! I have to know why they had these in the house. Was one of then a physician or veterinarian? Pretty please can you show us? I also loved the giant woodburning stove in the kitchen. So old timey. That and the heater make me wonder if the occupants were Mennonites?
Probably one got really sick and had to go into hospital for a lengthy amount of time and the survivor just couldnt deal with or handle the financial situation and just walked away only taking a few necessary items. Or both may have passed on. You could do research on property ar the hall of records in the closest town.
Those are linoleum floor clothes used like are rugs. My great aunt had them. Wood floors used to require a lot of maintenance so often they were painted or covered.
In the downstairs bedroom it is a closed up fireplace that’s it , the clock plugged up to run the clock and to light up the Jesus picture on both sides, the quote roll top desk happens to be a type of gentleman dresser. Please read up on your history
I hope the people that commented that they owned the house will be on here! Like the last video of thouse people saying that they Grandma died and they don’t go their that often hope to see people that owned this place will comment!
Rick I remember back when I was a little girl RCA AND ZENITH WAS SO POPULAR IN MY LIFE BACK THEN AND MYSELF lived in a house with a two sided fire 🔥 place and that's just plain stupid to block a fire 🔥 place!!!
I have back, that's deteriorating and those hard wood floors make my back feel sooo much better than a bed also I have such a bad spine with Osteoarthritis and bone spurs
Heating warm manning was a very popular heater in many homes in the 1960 many homes through out north American had them. They were effective especially in older homes where there was no central heating set up through ducts in the floors or electrical baseboard heaters. Generally to compliment such heaters there was a full cast iron stove in the kitchen and you can put wood or coal or practically anything that would burn and besides the stove thered also be a water heater which was connected through the stove to heat it, it would heat the way and also had a 2nd use as a heater as well.
A beautiful home filled with family memories seems very sad that the whole family just vanished without a trace. Hopefully there might be some more history as to what happened there are many unanswered questions needs closure
Back to reality, The elders went in nursing homes or lived with relatives and/or passed and who ever inherited is paying the property taxes and taking care of upkeep. Solved!
the fan on the back of the heater is called a blower. it helps circulate heat through the room.
I think there's something sinister about that house, 2 blocked interior doors, family portraits, sentimental belongings left.
It is a "Warm Morning" stove. My Mom had a kitchen stove like that. I remember her putting kindling in it. She made some good biscuits on that stove. Someone is mowing the grass.
Good idea but ranger rick does not seem too smart in that area
That cord probably runs that fan back there that's connected to the wires
Wow! This was a good one! Would love to hear follow-ups on places like this if you find out anymore info on the families & if the buildings get demo’d or restored!

for the fan , to circulated the heat. the stove , the cavity on the right is for hot water , i grow up with a stove like that
That is not a baby booster. It's a step stool for adults. It pulls out to reveal the steps.
I believe this was the grandparents house too. Saw catholic images of Jesus and the clock. (My in-laws had one too) the hanging on the wall was rug latch hook. Very popular in the 60’s and 70’s. @@kbhom4481 you are so right. You are extremely thoughtful of those left behind.
This is a family that vanished, not a known deceased person's leftoevers
Just wow and also I'm a Gemini too. Thank you for the explore! Please go back? I want to know what is behind the blocked door
That's not vinyl, it's linoleum.
Thanks so much! Amazing house! Thanks for sharing!
I say go back and respectfully get those doors open.
Maybe after the grandparents passed away the family just left it. Sad for the loved ones ashes to be left like that.
I got uneasy vibes. Thank you ♥️
They wouldn't Leave Family photos., Nor the Antiques.
Please go back to this house and see what's behind the doors
Thats awesome that your a gemini too! In one of your past videos I heard that you were an 1982 baby as well. It awesome to see another 1982 gemini out there. You have some amazing content and I hope to see more abandoned from you in the future.
I’m a 1974 Gemini too and when he discovers the ring I’m as surprised I wish we knew what happened at this farmhouse. So intriguing .
THE FAN BLOWER BLOWS THE HEAT AROUND
Here a observation maybe the the family are in that room where the door has that piece of wood blocking it because I think it strange great video rick.
That's a pump organ in the front room. No need for electricity. The pedals pump air into it.
I had one like it that belonged to my great-uncle.
Why do these houses always look so big on the outside but so small on the inside? It makes me so sad to see pictures and letters just abandoned like that (and ashes??). And who makes their bed before they decide to disappear? Wish me knew what happened to them.
Who empties the fridge before they decide to disappear?
The stuff in the rooms is what makes them look small. You empty that house and won't believe how big it looks/is.
I think the grandmother was living there alone and died and no one addressed the home just abandoned it.
Hey Rick! I love watching your adventures. The big black box is a wood stove.
This place is a treasure trove of antiques and collectibles. Very interesting house and I wish we could see what's behind the luck doors? Thanks for hard work ❤
wow so cool old Fram House you need to go back to that House ty for video

I used to Love Hook Latching Rug's and pillow's ,but yes that was what we were looking at on the wall, nice call RR and ALL!
That old chest is awesome. I miss exploring old places as a kid.
Good looking home in pretty nice interior 👌!!!
It is a Warm Morning stove and apparently, they burned both wood and coal it theirs. The electric cord was to supply power to the fan to circulate the heat.
This house how sweet you are... You make my day 💕 with no doubt!!!!
There are a lot of people doing this type of content but you have somthing special
These are my favorite type of video's. The ones where a bunch of stuff gets left behind. The items always have a story to tell. It's more than just a decayed and vandalised Building.
The lawn is mowed, the refrigerator was immaculate, dish s cleaned, it’s not abandoned
neighbors probably mow the yard

It’s a shame some things were left to just rot .
You should go back and see what’s behind that door and fireplace. Love your video.
Rick sounds too young to understand what a lot of these old appliances are
Hey Rick, the pottery 'dreamcatcher' in the window is a macrame hanging planter. They were popular in the 70's
Grandma and Grandpa's house. They died. First one, then the other was moved to a nursing home or moved in with one of the kids. The house is still in the family, but has been abandoned because the maintenance and repair and updating is too much work and money. Just my guesses based upon experience and observation. The Heater has to be plugged into the electric outlet for the fan to work blowing the warm air out in the room.
The stove in the kitchen? Because the one in the living room area is a gas heater. The plug is to circulate the heat around with the fan..

Sometimes opening doors and drawers takes TWO hands to stabilize them for opening.

Yes i would go back and check it out. That was a great video.
I hope if there is any family members alive out there in america will step up to take back this home.
Interesting that they cleaned the fridge but left the family photos
That Men's Cologne figurine in the kitchen is from Avon, Avon was very popular in the 1970's and the 1980's, my Late Dad had severa different Avon Men's cologne vehicles in the 1980's.
YES!!! GO BACK AGAIN!!! ❤. I LOVE THIS VIDEO!! ❤️
The big boob doll has me rolling 😂😂😂😂
Big ole things.
That place looks like we are going back in Time!!!
The thing of it is if the house had become unlivable for some reason, you’d think they’d take family pictures and personal items
I think the grandparents died and everyone too sad to go back there
That chair isn’t a “baby booster chair” it is a chair used in the kitchen probably bought with redeemed stamps collected, my grandmother had one. She collected quality green stamps in a book then got things with them. You need to read up on history before you start making videos to familiar yourself about old homes

I also loved the giant woodburning stove in the kitchen. So old timey. That and the heater make me wonder if the occupants were Mennonites?
My favorite thing in this video was the Elvis and Priscilla over the double bed upstairs
Probably one got really sick and had to go into hospital for a lengthy amount of time and the survivor just couldnt deal with or handle the financial situation and just walked away only taking a few necessary items. Or both may have passed on. You could do research on property ar the hall of records in the closest town.
Hey Rick, electric on coal stove is to circulate warm air, on the kitchen wood stove the part you lift was for water. Love this video!
I can't believe that they are going to let this house go to waste and all that furniture go to waste.
Yes you should
Those are linoleum floor clothes used like are rugs. My great aunt had them. Wood floors used to require a lot of maintenance so often they were painted or covered.
I can't believe how much stuff in that house that you have no idea what they are. You really need to educate yourself in American culture and customs.
not that cultured of a person lol
My God Rick it's a heater. It's got an electric fan to circulate the heat it's got to be plugged in for God's sake
i try to enjoy his videos but he literally gets confused over the most simple shit hes literally thought cookie jars were vases lol
I feel the same way he's just not really with it
That's a wood heater. The name of it is "Warm Morning". Grandma had one just like it.
It has an electric blower
In the bedroom is a macrame hanging plant holder, not a dream catcher.
That's just Plain sickening to cover perfectly good hard wood floors 😢
They disappeared without a trace and there are doors nailed shut. Hmm.
In the downstairs bedroom it is a closed up fireplace that’s it , the clock plugged up to run the clock and to light up the Jesus picture on both sides, the quote roll top desk happens to be a type of gentleman dresser. Please read up on your history
I googled Warmmanning it says its a Gas Heater. I I'm curious what's behind the closed doors?
all that stuff left behind so sad they took nothing with them
That's a plant holder hangin in the window.
In the kitchen is a wood fired cook stove, not coal fired.
I hope the people that commented that they owned the house will be on here! Like the last video of thouse people saying that they Grandma died and they don’t go their that often hope to see people that owned this place will comment!
Nice and clean house 🏡
The Warm Warning is a coal stove for heating the house. My grandparents used on for years.
The ecletric cord is for the fan to distribute the heat
The pump organ @0:13 is similar to the one in my house. My family believes that our grandfather bought it in the 1930s.
I think grandma died and no one emptied the house . Love this explore! Maybe they argued and it’s in the court system
Dude that is a wood burning stove. The fan on the back helps with circulation..
Here in the south we say: y'all (you all), includes both male and female persons, unlike "you guys" which sucks.
Here in Pittsburgh PA, we say younz. It covers both he & she too.😅
He is from the south. He’s from New Orleans.
I hate you guys
My years growing up I remember everything thing 😪 brings back memories to me!!
Solved!
Go back...so interesting ❤❤❤. Open those doors
I would definitely go back, now we're all curious 🤨. I think you should bring a medium. Definitely creepy and that teddy bear extremely creepy.
If you look at the letters carefully on the heater, it looks like "Warm Morning"
It warm Manning. It's the brand name.
Have a metal box just like that one. Important papers and pics
I bet that is one cold house. But I like old houses. I believe people may be coming back. If it's secluded I would love to buy it.
About the heater when you plug it up. It blows out the heat from the fire.
