Our Story:
We are four years into a seven year effort of transforming 20 acres of "Piney
Grove" in Northwest Florida into our dream homestead/mini farm to be filled
with animals and joy. We plan to have a variety of miniature critters on our
pastures, raise free-range chickens, grow fish in our pond, garden
organically, plant fruit and nut trees, and harvest wild game. Our goal is
to escape the stresses of corporate life and embrace all that country living
has to offer as we enter the next chapter of our lives. Follow along on our
journey!

Low hours , gently used!
I enjoyed seeing that 👍👍👍
I use a 20" mower in our weed patch. Didn't think a 6' bush hog could take out a 6" tree 😅
It's not in the manual!
Man you crack me up with the stuff you hit with that thing lol😂
have you seen this one: ua-cam.com/video/2LtKLLMwSRE/v-deo.html
@Piney Grove Homestead - Tractors and Outdoors oh yes! Lol...how bout a "will it mulch" video?
@@TheRealWadeW Good title.....We'll be abusing it again soon!
There's no way I'd try to cut a 6" tree with a brush hog. I run a 130 hp tractor and 15 foot brush hog that's rated to cut 4" trees. No way!!
It's not made for it nor recommended, but it will do it. That's one tough brush hog...13 years old and original gearbox!
@@PineyGroveHomestead that just means the weak link could be the pto gearing. That's not a cheap repair.
Hell no i wouldn't lend you my brush hog 🤣🤣🤣
Your definition of 'brush' is different than mine
NICE
They can transform a property quick!
I would give it a Thumbs up 👍 but that will make it a number I want to avoid.
try it now!
I broke a land pride brush hog blade doing that even though the mower had a slip clutch
I've broke a blade. dropped a whole stump jumper on the ground while chopping. but the gearbox is original!
What brand bush hog is that and gear box HP rating?
@@michaelachord1164 2006 King Kutter with 40hp gearbox
And this is why I don’t buy used equipment 🙈
It's made to work. This brush hog is 13 years old. Bought used.
should have just pushed it over and taken out the stump too.
I cut scrub oaks down that's 6 inches no problem
In between trees did you have to replace the shear pin, lol
We don't run soft bolts or we would be changing them a lot!
@@PineyGroveHomestead lol
I think that bridges on abuse. Your equipment as long as it last😮
Can't kill this brush hog!
I would put a push bar on the front and use angle grinder to put a sharp edge on it and push/slice them down instead.
That's just stupid.
effective
Until you tear up the gearbox on your mower. Or worse, tear up the pto on your shiny new tractor.
sir I'm not sure if it's rated to do that lol
That was Longleaf, why bush hog it down?
good eye. It was on a ditchbank. Volunteer. in the way.
