For me the biggest thing is not having to get new lenses, since my previous camera was mft. Upgrading to a full frame camera, even on sale, would be so much more money.
Hey, if I'm not mistaken the pocket 4k has recently been updated with Gyro stabilisation. In resolve there should be an option to use gyro stabilisation information, just go on the edit tab and its under video

Good move. The 4k is still the most versatile of the pockets. It's also the most filmic in my opinion. Still use mine after 3 years and don't feel like upgrading so soon, it's an amazing tool and it will still be for a long time.
So glad I got one! Coolest camera I've ever used! Lookout for video coming on my best lens for it!
Few things: 1) subscribed ! 2) the reason was because...you have what a lot of people do NOT. Focus - Drive - vision - and ready to stand on bizness ! lol. 3) Looking forward to what you create in the future. 4) I had the Pocket 4K at a time. And a client wanted me to shoot (2) videos in Jamaica. So I decided to buy the BMPCC4K before the trip, and then charged the client a fee to "rent" the camera. Worked out perfectly. Came back to the states, then shot one more video on it, also worked out pretty well. Millions of views later on those (3) videos, I can honestly say the Pocket 4K is no slouch and still holds up today ! Keep shooting bruh !

@@TOMMYBMP I work in the entertainment industry, and the recording industry, in LA. Started out doing music videos, eventually led to commercial spots, branded content, documentaries, shorts, etc. And always did photography on the side, the whole time. Still to this day, I do all of that stuff, same time. Keeps bills paid, while I prep and work on larger scale projects, TV + Movies. That's the goal.

yeah maybe i can do a specific series just dispelling those "must have" reccomendations. because a lot of the time everyone just says the popular thing to say without actually putting into practice!

10 bit pro res and 12 bit RAW is going to look better than the acanon R50's 8 bit and 10 bit HDR.
I always forget to talk about the bitrate!!
