Thank you for your video Jason, for those who are about to start their real estate development journey how would you go about the finding the right people for your team? Where one could meet them? How to make sure they are reliable ect, thank u!
Development is a dream, but the video and videos like this are very helpful as I find them very interesting. My story is that Im an Investor mainly looking to add value to apartment buildings in San Francisco and hold long term. Currently own 2 triplex's 1 was bought with no work done and the other we added a bathroom to each floor. Currently looking at a deal that We would have to do major work to but it seems like an incredible opportunity. My biggest problem with retrofitting or remodeling or getting work done is finding quality people to do the work at a fair price. From what im told to remodel a unit completely is around 100k just getting to that step is difficult (Making Estimates, Designers, Contractors, Timing, permits etc.) I know it doesn't have to do with developing as thats from the ground up but have to start somewhere lol! Hopefully in the next couple of years I might get into flips if I find a solid crew then developments after that!
Thanks for sharing your journey! It sounds like you have a solid plan in place, and tackling those challenges is all part of the process. Best of luck with your current project and future endeavors!
Thanks for this video Jason. Not sure if it was late to arrive or on time, and you've covered a lot of this separately in other videos but it's nice to have it all in one concise video. Keep up the valuable content, I love following your work and it's very helpful in building my own business from being just one of those specialty team members you mentioned to learning to be an actual developer... More day in the life or vlogging one project start to finish would be awesome!
Why don't you stick to the point man, you talk too much, In the first 4 minutes you have said nothing, mainly bullshit ,,,,,,,, sorry our time is valuable.

07:44 step 03: build network
08:38 step 04: secure financing
09:55 step 05: find the right location
11:00 step 06: assemble reliable team
12:23 step 07: obtain permits
13:00 step 08: construction
14:42: step 09: marketing, sales
16:15 step 10: evaluate, learn (step 3 repeated?)
are you implying that building a network is the same as evaluate and learn?
