    Dahl Puri Roti Recipe
    For filling
    1 1/2 cup chana Dahl or split peas
    3 cups water
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp tumeric powder
    Season with ingredients below when cooked
    ------
    1 tsp salt
    1 small maggi cube (optional)
    1/2 tsp thyme (optional)
    1/2 tsp curry powder (optional)
    1 tsp garam masala
    1 tsp cumin
    For Dough
    -----
    2 1/2 cups plain flour
    3/4 tsp salt
    1 tsp sugar
    2 tsp baking powder
    1 1/4 cup lukewarm water
    For frying
    -----
    1 cup vegetable oil or ghee butter
    For curry shrimp and potatoes
    ---------------
    500g shrimp
    1/2 tsp salt & black pepper
    1 tsp seafood seasoning or all purpose seasoning
    1/2 tsp thyme
    1 tbsp oil
    1/2 medium onion
    1 tbsp curry powder
    1 tbsp green seasoning
    1 medium potato (chopped and parboiled)
    1/2-1 cup water
    Cook for no more than 6-8 minutes in total.
