I bought one a month ago and after driving the 335i convertible I must say the 4 series convertible is much better and more fun to drive. But the e93 is also a great car and I love the the e90 era.
If only I had known about the optional drop down back seat but I love the 420i anyway. Wish it was not as wide as it is. I own the 2015 model. Only the hint that worries me are the plastic parts as the car ages as repairs are expensive.
Have you had any problems with the 420i engine? How many kilometers/miles have you done? I'm currently looking into buying a 2015 420i as a summer car.
If the timing chain hasn't been replaced yet and is approaching the manufacturer's recommended interval, it's advisable to do so to prevent engine damage. Consider the overall condition, your plans for the car, and the cost compared to the vehicle's value. Consulting a mechanic for advice can be helpful.

CAN I GET YOUR FEEDBACK ON THE 420D WITH 129K MILES AND THE TIMING CHAIN REPLACEMENT ...IN YOUR VIEW SHOULD IT BE DONE OR KEEP DRIVING?
