I did a trip from Rocky Mountain National Park to Moab on a K1600GT. the scenery was magnificent and a great ride. Glad to see that you are enjoying your trip. One thing that I have found is it is important not to feel rushed, once you feel rushed everything treacles down and the trip is sometimes comprimized. Glad that you didn't worry about leaving late. Thanks Ron! So true! Selecting a destination in a day that's relatively easy to reach or no destination at all makes for a good day's ride. Even when I push hard, speed and/or mileage, I know I can always stop when I feel it's time. That's the key for me. Ride well!
