This week's episode is a family affair, featuring Randy Hook creator of What's Neat .com and his father, Richard Hook, who will showcase his model railroad craftsmanship. Additionally, Mike Budde will present his impressive collection of roughly 90 Camaros, displayed on six stunning auto racks. We'll also explore the latest products and services designed to elevate your modeling experience. Joining the discussion, Daniel Coombe and Joshua Barton will offer their unique insights, all packed into an engaging 36-minute show.
Holy Cow Mike, that autorack train looks amazing!!
Those Autoracks... Mike is definitely an artisan! Great show friends!
Another great show. Always fun to watch. And Mike sure sets the bar high with his modeling. Thanks for sharing.
Great show guys lots of good info and Mike holy cow great details on the cars (auto racks) just wow!👍
Thank you, Ben!
Thank you for another brilliant show Ken
Great video! I would love to see one video of each person on the show that just focuses on them, it would be awesome to learn more about Mike and his modeling. Thanks for a great show, cheers!
Thank you!
Watch all the earlier videos and you learn that.
@@macnavi I have, just want to learn more 🤓
Great to see Daniel back at the table!!

So I'll go with my favorite this week - EVERYTHING
Thanks to everyone who made the show happen.
Scale Rail Ray back to the Round House...
Great to see you guys at the RPM meet. Thanks for another show!
Mike , The auto racks are fantastic.
Thank you!!
41 looks great the right way around. Thanks for fixing the video!
Another great show guys mike love the cars
Great video. Mike, you are awesome. The auto racks are beautiful
Hey Mike, the railroad along US 31 in Grand Haven looks to have been the C&O
I thought that’s what it was but I wasn’t sure. Thank you!
@@mikebudde2570 absolutely!
Another great show! Nelson Cain
I need those camaros for my layout
3D print!
@@mikebudde2570 I'm seriously thinking about buying a 3d printer to make them.
I did camaros and firebirds for my open racks too. Bought the cars over years of hitting up various shops. I call them my $200 dollar racks. But I model Gemco traffic so was a must do.
First of all, give a shout out to Mr. Randy Hook! Thank You so much for the W.N.T.W Index! Your awesome! The auto racks of Mike's are always awesome! I love the box cars of What's Neat! Great job! This is "The World's Greatest Hobby" Till Next Time! MoPac Jack 🚂 "May Your Tracks Be Clear & Your Switches Be Lined Up" Be Safe My Friends!
Incredible auto rack loads of scratch built cars Mike.
Thank you!
Enjoyed your vehicles on the 1/87 Club site over the years.
Look forward to your vehicles section on What’s Neat. 🤘🏻

@@bluefj-wc3vz thanks again, Joe! And thanks for watching our podcast.
Hi Ken & it's is Randy and i like yours video is Cool & Thanks Ken & Friends Randy
Great show this week guys. Keep it up.
I solely blame these guys for obsession with model railroading. I'm over here watching What's Neat episodes like it's First Take on ESPN
I really like the one I got from you!
Yes, that’s the first tri-level I built when I got back into the hobby around 1980. Glad it’s getting some run time. 😉
Another episode about HO scale products. Atlas has come out with 1/48 scale Ford pickup trucks and also new auto-racks. How about talking about them? Lots going on in O-scale!
we can only cover what we model and what we have to show off on the show. I have been cold calling Atlas for 5 years to get them involved with the show with no success.
Budde aka the auto-rack king. No skirts needed
I placed near a hundred dollar order with the ScaleSigns folks from last time (and got already!) what happens this week?
How about brass steam and diesel??for Tcs decoders
Can you make the what's neat boxcar available in G Scale
This is a great show with support from most major hobby manufacturers. Why there is a Trump link next to the Walthers link is kinda weird. I agree that political ads have no place in the hobby. These guys otherwise are the best of UA-cam model train shows.
1st!!!
No train running during this show?
The module that Ken has been working on with the lighting wasn’t in place to allow running. Maybe tomorrow…
You should not have apolitical commercial to your intro….
If you saw a political ad, it would have been added by UA-cam, not by Ken. I'm a UA-cam Premium member, so don't get commercial breaks, and I didn't see any political ads.
This hobby is ONLY for rich kids.
