      @@Vestals21stCenturyClassroom we love being together. And trying our best. :)
      Quick question. Is there anyway to make interactive worksheets that can include coloring or graphing? We are doing the Canadian provinces this year and making graphs of population and other things and I was just curious after watching your videos! Thanks. And all the best!

      @@jesssi5562 Yes, there is a graphing feature in Google. I don't have a video that shows these features, but you can find then by clicking "Insert" from the top toolbar. I like to have students complete mystery picture activities in Google Sheets. I have a video about how to make these activities, which you can find here: ua-cam.com/video/EKhaBNu0yAw/v-deo.html

    Hi, your videos are amazing! May I know which model laptop you use for your work?🙂

      Hi! Thanks for watching and following along. I do most of my work on a custom-built desktop that I had created just for the type of work I do. When I need to work on the go, I use an ASUS laptop.

    What if you don't have Powerpoint? I only have the Google Classroom Suite. What can I do?

    • @Vestals21stCenturyClassroom
      @Vestals21stCenturyClassroom  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Lisa! You need to be able to lock down the components that you do not want students to be able to drag. I think it is easiest to create the backgrounds in PowerPoint as I have shown and then move them over, but I understand that not everyone has access to PowerPoint.
      To create your backgrounds in Google Slides:
      1. Create each of your backgrounds on the Slides. This will be similar to what I show in the video. You will just do everything in Slides instead of Powerpoint.
      2. Click File>Download. Then, select either JPEG or PNG. This will save each of slides to your computer as an image.
      3. Open a new presentation and make each of the images you saved the background images. You will do this exactly as I show in the video by clicking Slide>Change Background.
      I hope this helps!

      You can use edit master (now it's called edit theme) and work from there. On a blank Google Slide presentation, click the tab Slide (between Format and Arrange). Scroll down and click 'edit theme'. Work what you don't want the students to move around there. When you finish, exit the edit theme and then choose the slide that you've worked on from the usual options you have when you want to add slide. Add anything necessary like text box for the students to fill or things they need to drag and drop on.
