I moved home last week, my V-Core 3 500 wouldn't fit through any doors, but thankfully it did fit through the window! I really, really didn't want to have to take it apart again.
The 500 not fitting through stuff is something I found out the hard way. Mine couldn't fit down the stairs so I had to throw him out the window. Think the video is somewhere on the discord.
After RR rejected to ship the kit, I started to gather parts from multiple sources, including local machine shops and aliexpress parts. Now, I am happy owner of Bambu Labs P1S and does not understand why anyone wants v-core. If its about DIY, vzbot looks much more promising. But I really like the mods community of the RR - this is great, thanks for that.
In my opinion IDEX printers are better for industrial uses than something like the X1C or X1E the reason being its fast and it doesnt waste a ton of filament.
Man, I have been REALLY itching to get into the IDEX kits, but I have been holding off to let the software bake. Really excited that might be a big announcement soon.

So glad you asked, we were literally looking into it this week. We were able to improve the shipping costs to the point where it's starting to make sense again. Don't get me wrong, they're still quite high, but maybe no longer outrageously high as they've been for quite some time.

Yea I can say I built my 500 on kitchen island..To move into its room the door had to come off its hinges . 😊

For years my dream was to own a Rat Rig core XY 400 x 400 printer. But i could not afford it and i didn't think i had the skills to build it myself.
