I am of the opinion that this is by far the single most powerful moment in the history of performing arts! The Tears flow freely….. LONG LIVE PAULINA VILLARREAL!
The crowd at a Warning show is one of the safest places to be on the planet. The fact that she felt compelled to perform a song she vowed never to sing, is proof of that. Dany, Pau and Ale have gathered about them wonderful people, because they are wonderful themselves. We will support them in whatever they need. If that means being willing to let Pau let go of whatever she is carrying, that is what we will do. The three of them have lifted us up many, many times. I owe them a debt that cannot be repaid.
She lost a childhood friend. I have heard several stories of what happened but I won't go into it. It really doesn't matter. Her heart is so big... She's such a special person.
It's so hard to see Pau cry and even harder when you know that she's actually an absolute firecracker. The rebel of the three. The one who doesn't put up with anything and defends herself and her sisters against haters. Takes hard action against them with, for example, the song Narcicista. When I see such a strong person, who we often seen laughing and then so sad and overwhelmed like here, then my heart breaks and tears come to my eyes, too. Great reaction. It's great that you let the song and Pau "breathe".
Oh shit Rick, you had to go and do this didn't you....just watched it 20 minutes ago on their channel and still a freaking mess... The context of this song is how she felt when she had a panic attack after learning about the death of someone she loved very much. I think the lyrics are spot on in trying to describe what a panic attack feels like. Turns out, when they signed their contract with Lava... they already had almost everything ready when Lava asked them for one more song. She ended up giving in and recording the song, but she wasn't really on board with it, so the agreement with Lava was that they wouldn't have to perform it live. I have no idea the specifics that led to her writing this, only that she shared it is deeply personal, and that she would never sing it in public. I know, from experience, that creative people are in a constant struggle between the highs of work that is warmly accepted or lauded for being exceptional and the pain of self-doubt and crisis of confidence. It can be debilitating. "Isolated". "Lonely". Yes, exactly. You can be in a room filled with people and feel completely disconnected, alone, questioning your talent, your ability, your worth. Dany, Pau and Ale are exceptional, professional, talented and creative people that are putting themselves out there, for everyone to see. Questions like, "Will they like it?", are still very relevant for them. When the crowd begins to sing with her, she says, "No, I need to sing it." She was already battling nerves and lived experience. When the crowd helps her finish it, and cheer and applaud, I think it hits her just how much she is loved, accepted, worthy of praise. They make us all feel like a part of their family. We want to protect them. Support them. Love them. It's truly a beautiful, symbiotic relationship.

One of the best reactions I've seen to this version of Breathe. Thank you. I've watched this over & over & it still makes me cry. I love Pau, she's my fav member & I just want to give her a big comforting hug at the end of the song.🥹🫶
Great analysis, sir. This song tears me up every time I hear it, both pronunciations of "tears." It's a troubling lyrical and musical masterpiece. In case no one already said it, I believe there's an important error in the translated subtitles at the beginning. The subtitles say, "I don't need to sing it." But what I'm pretty sure Pau says to the crowd already singing it is, "No! I need to sing it!" Indeed, she did, and indeed, she did.
Pau revealed in an interview that she obsesses over death, specifically wondering if when you die you retain memories of your life, or if it all goes away and eventually you and everything you did in your life will be forgotten. For example, she sees a statue of some famous person and she wonders if they even know that people made the statue in memory of their life's accomplishments. Whenever she ventures down such a path, going off on a tangent, both Dany and Ale recognize it and ground her to reality. I don't know for a fact that this song relates to any of that, but having heard her talking about that, it made me wonder. She is an incredibly talented, creative person. And despite the exterior persona of strength that she has in most situations, the fact that she exposes a lot of her inner thoughts and feelings through her music and allows her emotions to surface when she performs, exposes what is her Kryptonite.

Not really (more insightful). I tend to feel things in the moment and can express through words or physically. Hey I'm on vacation for the first time in years but had to check this out. Just remember the Freudian and particularly Jungian meaning of bodies of water: Beneath is our subconscious, above, our consciousness. As much as this song is about giving up when one maybe shouldn't, it is also about becoming overwhelmed with feeling 'from the deep'. It takes over and pushes out the Ego in order to be known. On that side losing one's words is just a painful but sometimes necessary part of the process of understanding what is beneath, which is also us.
@@B-Drags-Den Must apologise did not listen to all of your reaction 😩will do better next time - but in any case I have to say that great minds think alike.
@alansheppard1498 Correct on great minds. I felt like you were sharing something with me that I already shared with you. This was an experiment, too. Someone asked for this format on Breathe. I offered a concern as to whether people would even watch the second part. I felt they wouldn't. So, that being said, does this reaction approach suck? Let me know. Thanks 😊
@@B-Drags-Den I personally prefer reactions during the performance with a short summary at end but aware others would complain about cutting into a song so I guess I am saying there is no ideal method for reactions. I posted my initial comment at end of song btw.
I am a person of depressive disposition. Many times i felt into despair and hopelessness. So very often the thing that kept me from hitting bottom was my anger. I hate being depressed, i hate what makes me depressed. I am probably the angriest person i know. Anger had been a bouy that kept me aflot. Anger couple with curiosity to know more about the world. I was never satisfied with just what is around me. I want to know more. I can as easily just remain closed at home after working hours or then go on a voyage. Covid isolation was no bother for me because i already knew solitude in my life so it was nothing much to endure for me. I can as easily remain closed at home for a week or to travel abroad for a whole week alone, no problem. Anger and curiosity.
There is very little need to critique this song, or Pau for that matter, so those in TWA appreciate this approach.........that being said, you did a masterful job of recognizing the pain and emotion, and giving us what may have been a personal reason for doing it. This will help everyone who hears it, I am sure!
Thanks, but not a critique channel. It's a Reaction channel. There's a world of difference. I'm sure that's what your meant and you inpute I very well received. Thanks again
I say this song is about the impulse to suicide when nothing seems right in life and only pain exists. Tye something down belong that wants you close is death, it is the death wish of the suicidal. I think at some point in her life Paulina must have had suicidal ideatization. This IS NOT suicidal wish or wanting to kill youself. I dont think Paulina ever wanted to comit suicide. But many people sometimes imagine whst suicide or death might be like. This is quite common among the artistic type. Paulina didnt sermed to find anything romantic or appealing about it, all she found was just loneliness and sadness about it. In interviews Paulina has said her greatest fear is death, she thinks its the death of personality and death of the mind,.a nothingness where everything you ever were and know and imagined disappear forever. Very much my own opinion of death too. So no, we dont need to be affraid gor her. Like all good artists Paulina was able to put to words and turn into art one of our saddest aspect of our human condition. Ironically songs like this are what prevents others from suicide because they are cathartic, it makes people realise they are not alone, others know your pain and understand you. That is why sad songs exists snd are important to exist, they are catharsis and helps bring to life in situations when fun and happy tunes are of no help.
If you had kept the first recording with you less in control of your emotions, it would have been just fine, we would have completely understood where you were coming from. If this performance doesn't get you in the feels, well I don't know if you're truly human.
I am of the opinion that this is by far the single most powerful moment in the history of performing arts!

On that side losing one's words is just a painful but sometimes necessary part of the process of understanding what is beneath, which is also us.
reminds me that we need to breath from time to time👆
I'm not chopping onions, you are....
Seems to me that this performance was cathartic for Pau as it is to the 8,000 who witnessed this special performance.
Did you watch the whole reaction? I mention that quite a bit. Just curious. 🤔
Have to believe that as well...like a giant weight taken off her shoulders...finally getting this out there for the fans.
Great explanation and reaction ⚡️🤘🏽
Viva Pau, Dany y Ale, Viva The Warning ‼️ ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Thanks for watching 😊

Resistance is futile! Pau is pouring her soul out during this song!
GREAT REACTION RICK FROM MX
Thanks
very good reaction
Thanks for watching 😊
Thanks✌️🙂
Thanks for watching 😊
There is very little need to critique this song, or Pau for that matter, so those in TWA appreciate this approach.........that being said, you did a masterful job of recognizing the pain and emotion, and giving us what may have been a personal reason for doing it. This will help everyone who hears it, I am sure!
Thanks, but not a critique channel. It's a Reaction channel. There's a world of difference. I'm sure that's what your meant and you inpute I very well received. Thanks again
🤘
HAY 8000 FANS Y LOS PUEDO CALLAR PAU ❤🤘😎🤣😜😛
don't know if it's true or not, but have read in other comments it's a song she wrote after a friend committed suicide
One guy above in the comments said he read that it was a friend that drowned. So who knows what's it about, only Pau knows.
Whatever it was, it evidently really affected her.
If you had kept the first recording with you less in control of your emotions, it would have been just fine, we would have completely understood where you were coming from. If this performance doesn't get you in the feels, well I don't know if you're truly human.
With the mic muted? Not sure about that. Thanks for suggesting.
@@B-Drags-Den You're right. Muted mic isn't good. Just meant that any emotional display on you part would have fit right in with the rest of us.☺
@yeticatcher That's very true. I can't tell you how upset I was. First I'm sad and recovering and then straight to unbelief and anger. 😟😭 🤔😡🤬

Does it really matter? It doesn't really matter.
I think is about anxiety.
