Thanks Bug, I cooked up a fantastic medium rare steak, cracked open an equally fantastic IPA and watched you carve the corners on your Vespa….and yes, now I want a Vespa!
I have a Piaggio BV350 and it's extremely good in the twisties. And I am in Switzerland where we have twisties op the wazoo, and I have 35+ years of motorcycle experience. Love my scooter ! To me a scooter feels more 'care free' than a motorcycle. My tip for twisties: make sure you're always able to swerve...
Yep, twisties on a scooter is a blast! I sold my BMW R1200 and went back to where I started 55 years ago - a Honda Super Cub; the Cub goes through the mountain twisties smoother, easier, and some turns, faster. just a blast!
Chubby Checker (b. 1941, birth name Ernest Evans) had his first single on Philadelphia's own Cameo-Parkway Records in 1959. It was called "The Class," and it included Mr. Evans (already known as "Chubby") imitating various Top-40 singers of the day...including one Fats Domino (b. 1928, birth name Antoine Dominique Domino, Jr.). Mrs. Dick Clark -- yes, MRS. Dick Clark -- loved the record, especially Chubby's imitation of Fats Domino. So, with her limitless creativity, she told her husband he should dub the singer "Chubby Checker" as a "commercial" nod to Fats Domino. True story. So, c'mon, bug., let's twist again like we did last summer/Yeah, let's twist again like we did last year/Do you remember when things were really hummin'?/Yeah, let's twist again, twistin' time is here...
I was a chubby kid who rollerskated a lot, and I was also a bit of a flirt. The girls at the rink called me Butterball. I don't know how that relates to anything, but it's important to know about me.
Dude, I love, love your videos! You are hilarious! They just popped up when I was searching for info. on a new scooter to buy. Thank you for your work. I think I might be getting a Vespa next. You make them look so fun. Currently I have a 20 year old silverwing, but I actually think something a little more maneuverable would be nice, specifically for those twisties. 🤣
I love that ride. Skyline is a little rough closer into town. Other roads to try that are like Germantown but are more challenging: Newberry Rd. is a little before Conelius Pass. Logie Trail Rd. Is a few miles West of Conelius Pass. Good Video though and have a good vacation!
Love your channel,I don’t have a Vespa but an ADV 350 ,I love the Vespa but wanted something with a bit more power and reliability.although the Vespa is a classic stylish design
Fun video as always! I have the turn signal shutoff problem also. I also find myself trying to cancel it when it's not even on. Hopefully one day they cancel each other out, literally. Also, the one blinker for both left and right is just dumb, dumb, dumb.
Love the twisties even more on my 946 vs BV400! Chose braking/line based on best line of sight & road & traffic--and other crazies that might pop up. I also think deer make it a game to jump out into the road to scare us humans. Indeed road rash or bug strikes hurt. I like my skin & chin, and I found better gear options on some EU sites... (Esp since in the minority gender of riders for US gear stock). But 🥾 not 👠 😅
No, but I was experimenting with some different settings. It's REALLY hard to keep things right going from bright sun to deep shade. Had to do what I could in post...
Hey bug, Doc here. I trust today finds you weller than well. Have done the twisties up to Dixie Mountain out up here in Washington County…? Highly recommend. So beautiful. Grateful for yet another day. Be young. Be foolish. Be happy. Ride safe. Cheers! 🛵🏁🎯

That looks even more fun watching it at double speed!
Funny, I did the same thing. But then I forgot I set it to 2X and was thinking, "wow, I look really nervous and twitchy..."

Cool videos. How do record audio whilst driving?
Forget the MSF course! Follow Bug for the correct technique. 😎
Oh dear god no.

When in Savannah?
We left yesterday. Beautiful city!!
Are you using a different camera? It looks darker than normal
No, but I was experimenting with some different settings. It's REALLY hard to keep things right going from bright sun to deep shade. Had to do what I could in post...
it's not dark, the contrast is low
Disappointed he went with "Bug's garage" instead of "Bug's Bodacious Barn" purely for alliteration's sake.
Deeeeep breath bug.
Deeeeep breath.
Be young.
Be foolish.
Be happy.
