Thanks. If you have several MIDI devices, you should also look up iConnectivity Mio. The medium one, the XM, can host 4 USB MIDI devices directly, and up to 8 with a powered USB hub attached to it, and it can do advanced routing, filtering, MIDI over Ethernet, standalone or PC connection mode. ua-cam.com/video/lI0Ji7fTvLo/v-deo.html
@@hakonsoreide Thanks! Yeah, ultimately I'd like to have all my MIDI stuff "just work," and then when I want to record their audio into my DAW, I'll worry about that as a second step. Instead of now having to pull up a session and arm a track just to hear an instrument.

I believe the Keith mc Millen midi expander has to be connected to their own K mix audio mixer to work, which itself is powered by a computer
