I don't know why UA-cam recommended me this video. Started watching. You guys are kinda' funny, but also don't know much about transportation, which used to be mostly electric, before Ford and his pals destroyed all electric transport, ~100 years ago. Tesla is starting with semi trucks, because it's the easiest segment to electrify. You just have to install chargers on major routes >250 miles apart (maybe ~150miles apart if there's significant elevation) and it's done. Every Tesla truck can now travel on those routes, fully loaded, takes 35 minutes to charge up. Where you have elevation it's a bit trickier, BUT if you make it to the top, you can regain most of the energy when you go down with regenerative braking (when an electric motor doesn't get power, it generates power)......etc.... you can look it up on google. 👍
One thing that often gets forgotten about with “green technology” is the process of making the alternative fuel. Creating the electricity to charge that battery is still using fossil fuels. A good example is when ethanol first came out and they promoted it as green but at the end of the day it’s a net energy loss. You have to think about the entire process which includes a lot of fuel to make the corn to ethanol. What does that do to the food source/cost of food. Point being the entire process is often overlooked and really need to look at all energy/resources put into making a so called “green” product. Not saying I’m against green but it makes you think how green is a product with all things considered. It’s an interesting topic.
