Wish I could send them to you hot out of the oven but I'm afraid I don't have teleporting ability just yet. LOL I am glad you enjoyed the video. Recipe will be on the blog tomorrow. Thanks for watching!!
Hi Kathy, I just love seeing your pretty face. I enjoyed watching you make these homemade biscuits, they look yummy. Hope your enjoying your Saturday😊❤
So nice to put a face with the voice!❤ Thank you for sharing your time and creative talents with us! Like you, I ❤ potatoes, pasta, and bread; but am on an eating regime now for CKD, trying to stay off of dialysis. But I WILL be making those biscuits!!!
So glad to see your face again and you are looking good. Always watching cooking videos when not watching card making, will be looking for your recipe on making the buttermilk. My mother made biscuits almost every morning and never learned to make them myself and I am almost 81 years old now. I keep trying when I can but don't do much cooking for myself anymore.
Now let me tell yall these biscuits are delicious! I have had these biscuits my entire life and I have also learned to make them myself. Please if you are looking for a really good melt in your mouth biscuit you have just found the right recipe! Love you Mama and I love your new cooking videos!
Wow . They look delicious n easy..I have never made biscuits..I can almost taste them…I so enjoyed you making them thank you..can’t wait to see the next cooking video hugss
Good job Kathy - those biscuits sure do look good enough to eat! Like Rosie, I don't do much cooking or baking any more and I too am almost 81. Just the two of us with kids grown and living far away now and hubby is vegetarian and I am not. I enjoyed watching you though and will keep watching.
Love your first cooking video! Those look soooo good. I hope you bring us the homemade buttermilk video. Our grocer doesn't always have whole buttermilk.
A fun addition to the stamping. Except for the self-rising flour and grating the butter, this is the same recipe I used to use when hubby and I had a full nest. Always good but I’m betting the grated butter makes them exceptionally good. My mouth is watering!
The butter does give them an exceptional taste & texture. Hey, I'm like Paula Deen....you just can't have too much butter. LOL Thanks for watching. I'll still be doing stamping videos with cards and papercrafts but I also love to cook as much as I love to craft....so why not combine the two. Have a blessed Sunday from me in NC!!
This one is a bit different than the one that is available now....it's an upgraded version. I will link it on the blog post. It is the greatest grater I've ever used.
Okay now I'm hungry for biscuits! They do look yummy. You made it look very easy too. You did great Kathy. Can't wait to see another cooking video. You are looking great too. Oh, do you deliver to Fox, Arkansas? lol Hugs Oh, I have never been able to make a decent biscuit, so now I want to try again.
I love homemade biscuits, but have never mastered making biscuits them. My mom made the best biscuits, but I told her she never made enough for us. I will have to try following your recipe.❤. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Great video Kathy! Congrats on your premiere! Biscuits look wonderful. Now if I doubled recipe, do I double the baking powder? I made my own self rising flour as hard to find in San Diego that isn’t so expensive. Should I add the extra BP to my own self rising flour? Sorry for all the questions . Love biscuits. My husband was from TX. He was big bread eater and potatoes too. He’s with Jesus will be 5 yrs this Christmas. Miss him! Look forward to more cooking videos. I enjoy your card making videos too. GBU! 😀💕🌹🤗🤗🤗 PS: love the grating too, where did you find it?
llDawn, in answer to your question, I would say yes. The ratio of flour to baking powder, salt and baking soda should be the same as it is in store bought self-rising flour. If I were to make mine with all-purpose flour I would add the extra baking powder and yes if I double the batch I would add 2 Tbsp. of extra baking powder.
Yummy,ty
Amen
Not only are you a great card teacher but you’re a fabulous cooking instructor. Thanks for this video. Can’t wait to get the recipe. Bless you!! 🙂

I like your little grating tool. Much better than a hand grater! Are you allowed to say what brand it is?
This one is a bit different than the one that is available now....it's an upgraded version. I will link it on the blog post. It is the greatest grater I've ever used.
