Hi Lisa...I have just got into making gnomes with polymer clay and your tutorial is brilliant...just wondering though, as I can't find it anywhere, how long do you bake the clay for? There are thick and thin parts so trying to get an idea for how long to bake with all that in mind :) I have only made with air dry clay but the polymer is a better clay it seems :)

Thank you Leanne! Each clay comes with directions as to how it is supposed to be baked so it varies by product. Mine is usually Sculpey and I bake at 275 for about 30 minutes for something this size and allow it to cool in the oven. If its bigger/thicker you can go longer. Check instructions that come with your clay as they may differ but this is a pretty common method. Enjoy!

And I haven't had a problem with the thin spots baking longer in my experience. Only baking too hot has backfired on me!

Will air dry clay work with these?

I think it could if you modified it a bit- some air dry clay can crumble and not be as precise as polymer. Modeling clay can smear and transfer color. So you could use the same steps and adjust to the abilities of the clay you are working with!

Están lindos pero solo vemos a la maestra y no lo que hace. Ojala para el próximo video se enfoque en las manos. Saludos
