This video shows how to update your Lenovo thinkpad series BIOS in Windows by following some simple steps.

Why Need To Update The BIOS:
Some of the reasons for updating the BIOS include: Hardware updates-Newer BIOS updates will enable the motherboard to correctly identify new hardware such as processors, RAM, Graphics card and so on. If you upgraded your processor and the BIOS doesn't recognize it, a BIOS flash might be the answer.

My lenovo flex failed to update bios using lenovo vantage? Power already plug in before update. But it only restart the laptop without update bios. . May i know why?
Sometimes it happen due to bug issue in vantage, Do you remember which version you have updated.. check the BIOS version in "system properties".if not updated please try using .exe file in official Lenovo website. If you are facing any issues feel free to drop your comments..

Just follow the video.. connect the power adaptor to the laptop before starting the update. This update not slow down the speed or performance.. Read the video description for why need to update the BIOS.

If battery is removable, remove the battery and press and hold the power button for 10 sec then insert the battery and power ON the laptop.

There is only one option.. you need to roll back to windows 10 and update BIOS.

With a Lenovo Ideapad 5 15ARE05, I'm getting a BSOD when trying to update the BIOS to E7CN51WW. I followed the instructions in the readme, started the *.exe as administrator but when the program is reading the old BIOS, I get a BSOD. I've tried disabling secure boot but that didn't work. What do you think is the problem?

@@CreativeTechFixer Thanks, but I noticed that the new BIOS updater only supports Windows 10, not 11. Also, the BSOD is probably a registry, bootloader, or system file issue based on my experience. I just don't want to have to get it to crash and not reset just to take a picture of the QR code. I no longer have access to the laptop. Thanks again.

Yes any interruption during BIOS flash device will damage. Some times BIOS will recover automatically if failed.
