The hardcore darkness mod (2:53) gave me an idea for a mod. So basically, it just adds in a really pretty night sky with a bunch of colors and stars, but if you put down a bunch of torches, light pollution levels rise and the sky starts to dim. It would be really cool to one moment be at your base with a dark sky, venture out a bit, and just see the sky light up

But I did not know the names of these mods specifically to optimize the RLCraft modpack and remove all unnecessary mods. Now thanks to you I know. Now I will try to put it all together.
RLcraft is cool on theory, but in practice, most 3D models do not fit minecraft's cubic art style, and some mechanics are completely unfitting to a lagging java game.
@@MertOguz yeah, like that mod that adds in theory cool feature of separating health between your body parts, but actually just allows any mob to oneshot you because game somehow register their hits as headshots 90% of the time even if you wear a freaking helmet. Reali... I mean, hardcore! P.S since when RNG considered hardcore? I thought hardcore meant something involving skill...
@@leventekecskes8030 I think fair-ness is subjective choice. Cubic and well designed mobs are much better than stupid high poly freaks, but still super hardcore difficulty is cool approach. Thanks for mod suggestions though, I will check em now.

Exactly your point is the same what I didn't like in the Lycanites' mod, those mobs are cool, especially useful, but didn't seem to fit in the world of Minecraft, they damaged my eyes somehow. Yepp, fairness is really relative, that's why I recommended configurable mods if whether you are a mazoist, whether you are a better-avoid-from-danger person, you can set the things as you want them. I currently spend the last hours to write the mods down what I want to get together, already seems quite a lot (72 lmao), but I guess it's kinda "fair" enough for my taste already.

@@masonkrosecky8273 if you have a decent gpu for the mods, so yes, if with shaders you need a powerful gpu or a medium one if it's not realistic u want, if it is u need powerful one, and alot of ram, i recommend GTX and RTX
5:30 better alternative is Traveler's Backpack in my opinion. doesn't take up your chest slot, plus you can store liquids in your bag and it has a sleeping bag in it
Another mod that I used is the epic fight mod, the combat is overhauled a lot! It really adds a cool experience. If you do get this mod, press r to get into battle mode. It also adds new armor, weapons, and a skill book. Have fun! :D
It still amazes me to what people can do With Minecraft. Back then it was just pixelmon, crazy craft, etc. keep up the good work, this is why this game is so good the creativity is LITERALLY endless

You forgot something. The weather storms and tornados mod adds some very realistic weather to your game, and has a pretty configurable file. Also the file can be accessed from the pause menu. It adds rain, thunder, high wind, hail, tornados, cyclones, blizzards, and sandstorms.

yea often im freezing in a desert during the winter and melting in a thundra during the summer it's why I personally dont have the seasons on when I play on my own survival plus modpack it limits creativity by adding pointless annoyances. I like living in harder to survive biomes but the seasons mod just ruins all that. @@ronanvankessel6329
1.12.2 is a very popular version for modding. I don't know why, but I think it has the most mods than any other version. And from what I can see, you can mod it to make things even better than vanilla 1.13-1.17. I'm actually glad he's reviewing 1.12.2 mods. I just recently got into trying modded Minecraft.
I think it will be awesome if Mojang decided to add these kind of Mods into minecraft without players installing them. This will defiantly change minecraft, and its play style.

I feel like if you sifted through these mods with just the right combination (turn them on) you can have an experience closer to reality of course obviously you would keep certain mechanics encountered in Minecraft normally the same like how long it takes to mine a block of say iron or coal. Also keeping the day and night cycles the same however, allow for season changes etc...

The skin, animations, and backpack thing(that might be your skin(I love it by the way)) are so nice!!! UGH! I watch this video so much just for that part but the rest of the video is awesome too. I prefer Sophisticated Backpacks, it does everything that Wearable Backpacks does, but they're upgradable. You can raise the tier of your backpack to increase the storage capacity, and add modules to increase functionality.

Wearable backpacks is a bit buggy at times, so I suggest Traveler's Backpacks. It's a lot better.

One I adamantly suggest is iron backpacks, which take a slot but are quite possibly the best and least complicated backpack mod I could find.
