I have a Graceland lofted barn and we were told not to cover the vent in the ceiling...I noticed you covered yours, did you add vents?

Thanks for watching! If I'm not mistaken, the lofted barn doesn't have an attic space right? That's probably why there's a vent. In ours, we have about 3 feet of attic space above the ceiling and a ridge vent that runs the length of the house.
