- With a newly designed composite cabin, a more reliable engine and a new electronic safety control system, the Cicaré SVH-4 repositions its sell for a safer and more entertaining helicopter instruction. like its successful previous model the SVH-3 its a conventional helicopter design attached to a unique mobile ground platform which allows full and safe use of all flight controls including lift off to a normal hover at 3 ft AGL and hover taxing
I learned to fly helicopters in a Bell 47 fifty years ago. What a great idea this is. The hover is the hardest part of the helo training. I can just imagine how many cheap hours of “flying “ you could get with this.
Flight schools are looking at this thinking, "If they'd sell me just the platform so I could install one of the twenty Robinson R22s I already have and control the engine from the tablet they give you, I'd order one tomorrow."
Effective training indeed! Really impressive. It's not a simulator it's far beyond! Congrats to those who had this wonderful idea.
They got it from the R/C Helicopter industry. I used one in my early days of flying RC helicopters
Brilliant tool for the early stages of helicopter training, will help to build confidence as well as test ability all within the realm of safety.
Brilliant!!
This should in use all over the world and by every helicopter flight school
Nice to see, and nice to know that it's in service here in Brazil.
It quickly builds skill, coordination and confidence for the nervous (and not so nervous) learner during the critical first 10 hrs of helicopter training.
I don't see how..since this thing never gets out of ground effect...and the flight characteristics of a heli are completely different in ground effect vs self sustained flight..
It also has a super realistic mode where you disconnect the platform and fly around completely unrestricted to simulate flying around completely unrestricted...
seems like it would build bad habits and false confidence.
+warmfreeze So, based on that you will never recommend commercial pilots to use any simulator..isnt it? Duhhh
at least a simulator actually simulates the effects of crashing. This thing completely hides them, you cant screw up.
What a tool. Clearly well designed and put in to practice.
Super cool! I don't know how I hadn't heard of this before. I hope to see it in use soon
As an A&P Mechanic and a rotor wing pilot, I'd like to have my son take several hours in this before he takes to the open air... I know it's not the UH-1 I'm used to flying but it would be the best start for him... He's nowhere ready for the UH-1 yet but will be some day... My dad was and IP and IIP at Ft. Rucker on the UH-1 among other aircraft for the test board there.
Felicitaciones
This is fantastic and will soon be an amusement ride somewhere too I'm sure...
This looks like a fantastic tool for the industry, hopefully one day it will come to an FBO near me, and I'll get a chance to try it.
As someone with no experience in flight but wanting to fly helos this looks awesome. Now I just have to save up my quarters.
Outstanding practice tool to hone your skills. Very nicely done throughout.
Very impressive! An excellent training device.
Wow, this great! I would love to do this. Great learning tool for sure!
Helicopter with training wheels. Impressive.
Cool stuff
This is a really good idea. Good job Cicare!!!
Fantastic! I want one!
I'm in love with your one of a kind product!
Awesome trainer.
Excellent job
Well done, great invention!!!
Very nice🚁👍💯
Very nice
Sigan con el excelente laburo!
Lm8 is
I have to say that’s pretty cool
I would love to have a go at it.
Can you practice hover autos? (Power failure during hover) That by itself would be a huge training benefit.
I would love to try that but with a much larger surface to practice on. Say about 100 yards by 100 yards.
Wow, that is a great idea! Thanks to whoever thought up this design. Were can I buy one?
Que grosso! Lágrimas de orgullo!
Lo máximo!!! .. Muy buena alternativa para Perú..
So the pitch and rotor speed has been set so he can’t lift off with the trainer gear afixed ,just give the controll feel of the machine
i would love to have one, can you take the "training wheels" off at some point and actually fly it? if not then this should be something the company should look into to complete a full training suite.
grande PIRINCHO!!!!
Cicaré SVH4: If you can afford the $169,340price tag this would make one hell of a big boy toy:
A reduction of between 60 and 80% in the hourly cost of flight training during the first 10 hours of the course.
Virtually eliminates the accident risk for Students and Instructors during the early training stages as well as protecting helicopters from wear/tear and damage.
Optimising skills formation and reducing stress to suit the learning pace of each unique student.
Allows Armed forces and other security agencies to economically assess the abilities of aspiring pilots before selection for recruitment.
Allows inexpensive “Back to Basics” check and training for corporate operators.
Awesome!! 👍
Totally cool!
Very nice. What is the hourly cost of this semi-simulation vs. typical in-flight training?
That is fantastic!
¡Felicitaciones!
It’s nice but it looks expensive. Many flight schools have a limited budget.
Cool stuff. Nice whirlybird. I used to fly r22s and r44s
I hope is affordable because this is very Impressive.
So that's the sim they all go to !
what if the trainee tries flying it higher than 90cm? would it fly higher than that with the base still attached to it?
How is it powered I wonder 🤔
'
wow that is so beautifully coool trainning helicopter...
can use inside the big building
If you disengage the plaform, it could fly away?
I wonder if even 3 of these have been sold...
Wow this is great
Nicely done
Nice amazing rearing good perfect
Very cool.
Tim MichaelsLG youtub
never have seen this before. very cool.
And the beauty is it only cost twice as much as a real helicopter and flight instructor per hour.
I want one so I can learn to fly then buy a Huey... just one of my dreams
Wow great idea.....
Saludos de Brasil.
love it
So this chopper doesn't leave the ground?
Amazing
Actually training wheels and its flexibel. I'm pretty sure you could train someone with 0 experience with am instructor and the student would pickup the skills remarkably fast.
Belleza!
Neat - and the video narrator had very goodly english.
Von Skipppy bahahah
I’d probably be the one who still somehow managed to get the rotors caught in the telephone wires.
Imagine rolling down a public street in this thing. 😂
Great idea.
Very nice.
very cool
I can't seem to find that background song.
😂 that accent is HILARIOUS!!!
where does one go to do this ?
Where do you put the quarter in to go for a ride ?
Is this available anywhere in the USA? Gracias.
They have distributors in USA, in Mesa Arizona and several other cities.
I’m not understanding how this is cheaper than regular helicopter training. It looks like a fully functional helicopter to me, a fixed wing pilot, but strapped to the ground. Is it just cheaper to operate by the hour?
Very cheap, the first hours are the most difficult in the training
Notice that it is a small single seat helicopter only. There is no need for trainer seat.
Also, there is very little risk in operating it, that lowers operational and maintenance costs.
The woman says and show's on the map it's available in Australia, but obviously they have no idea that New Zealand is not Australia as they also highlight New Zealand as part of Australia.
:)
Wonderful Idea.........
:)
me en canto una maravilla su valor
That is very clever
Where in the USA can I find this one?
Yes yes but if you snapped of that stupid bracket could you fly away in it? XGX
Where in USA is this trainer available?? I live in Sw. Fla. Thanks
HOW much?? Can it be rented? Leased?
What could possibly go wrong?
Self orientation wheels? We just call them castors! Like every shopping cart has!
Obviously you have never used a Walmart shopping cart
