FIRST, THANK YOU SO MUCH, I LIVED IN COLUMBUS AND WORKED AT KROGERS FOR DECADES. I AM NOW IN SAN DIEGO. BUT I SURE DO MISS THE CAPITAL CITY. AND MOSTLY THE RAIN AND SNOW. NEEDLESS TO SAY I DON'T SEE THAT HERE. WHEN EVER I GO HOME, I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE, WHAT'S HAPPENING IN THE DOWNTOWN AREA, FROM GERMAN VILLAGE TO THE UNIVERSITY. AND YOU MENTION HOW GREEN IT IS. I SAY THE SAME THING WHEN THE PLANES LAND'S. YOUR BACK DROP WAS BEAUTIFUL. THANKS AGAIN. AND I WILL START WATCHING YOUR VIEDOS. GO BUCKS!!! . .
Thanks Paul for watching and for your comments! San Diego is such a great town as well-the weather is choice! You are right, there is so much happening in Columbus and I'm here for it!
Award for most Jacked Realtor online. Strong Safety or other lol! Being a UW husky I have to say Columbus looks cool except for the rain which I can't take too much of anymore and rooting for the buckeyes no way... But great video anyway! Spoiled by bay area weather and hurt by the prices! The search continues! I need good weather, bike trails... Afraid of the turbulance flying into CO or would consider Co Springs.
Agree overall with your pros/cons. Lived in suburbs of C-bus for several years, currently in Florida, likely relocate back to C-bus at some point. One con not mentioned that many would not realize for C-bus is how high the taxes are. Property taxes in the nicer suburbs are astronomically high compared to many areas I have lived. There is also a state income tax (none in FL) so the tax burden in and around C-bus was high (especially schools/property related). Great city overall though.
David Brock good call! I thought I had mentioned it, but may have been in another video. On average, I find that property taxes are about 2.5% of property value, give or take. Several times I have had to dispute the tax amazing and it has worked out. Thanks for watching and please lmk if I can be of assistance on the move back.
Would love to have a conversation with you! I’ve never been to Ohio but I am relocating for a job in a couple weeks! I’m going in blind and I’m quite anxious and a little scared!
Columbus is a great city for families! We have two children here, and decided to stay because we could offer many great opportunities for our family here.
Creating magnificent inspiration
Thank you!
