It’s actually offensive to aboriginal people that a woman plays didgeridoo… Apparently it’s a tribal thing, because of the breathing technique, diaphragm lifts the organs, causing sterility in women…
Times, and cultural customs do change. I don’t think UA-cam is really the place to be casting negative judgment on someone who is just doing their thing, playing from the heart. And playing damn well at that.
Not trying to be negative or anything but female's aren't allowed to play the yidaki (didgeridoo) I am an Australian Aboriginal. I absolutely love that you are bringing it to the world However you are going against my culture if you want to take a part of my culture and use it then you should learn about the whole thing not just one part that you like or find intriguing. 🖤💛❤ Peace & Positivity.

Adele you need to get a real job!! that is our yidaki.. +John Smith Gumbula Do you realize how rude you are? Have you ever talked to the Masters of Yidaki, let's say Djalu Gurruwiwi? If you did so you'd know that they are fine with women playing didgeridoo. As you said there is a difference between traditional yidaki and modern didgeridoo playing - that being said, women in those tribes where the didgeridoo originates from were and are allowed to play. It's just some sexist dickheads (excuse my French) like you who don't want women to play. Besides that, Adèle is an incredible didgeridoo player, has met with many Aborigines and shouldn't be treated like that. No one should.
